Very disappointing stay. On booking my daughter had enquired about Vegan options and was told there would be some vegan options and food could be adapted to accommodate a vegan, on this she went ahead and booked for 3 adults and 3 children in interconnecting rooms. From checking in, we found hotel not very welcoming or personal, we had to ask about everything. Hotel rooms were lovely, we stayed in 503 and 501, views were nice and it was lovely and quiet. Phone was nor working in one room and fridge not working in second. After we unpacked my daughter went to enquire about Vegan options for dinner, only to be told they could adapt the pasta dish with a tomato sauce. That was it, so we ate elsewhere. Beds were lovely and comfy and we slept well. Next morning was the usual buffet style fry for breakfast and the continental pastries and fruit The children loved it. My daughter enquired about Vegan options, to be told, toast mushrooms , tomatoes and beans. She went to speak to front of house staff and also asked to speak with manager. The lady came back to her and said following morning Chef could do vegetarian sausage and fried potatoes. Next morning when she asked she got vegetarian sausage but fryer wasn't plugged in to do potatoes. She is still waiting for the call back from the manager. We opted to eat out on second night and had a fabulous meal elsewhere who also were able to accommodate Vegans. The swimming pool is lovely in the hotel and we enjoyed that. But everything seems too much effort to the staff, we got a dirty high chair in the lounge which had to be pointed out. The cleaning staff and staff who dropped stuff to our room were lovely. But it's the total lack in other areas that need attention. We wouldn't stay again. Just lacked a personal touch.
