Amazing hosting from Scott. He couldn’t have done more to accommodate us, including getting my son a birthday balloon as our visit was to celebrate his birthday. Great breakfast, it certainly hit the spot! Comfortable room and bed- my only grumble would be that we couldn’t prop the windows open easily and we like to sleep with the window open. Rooms were a little tired and stud walls meant noise travelled from the other rooms but overall we were comfortable and would be very happy to return. Fantastic location and very easy walk into town centre/beach,

We stayed here as a family for two nights at the beginning of November. We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to return which we are hoping to in May next year. The owner Scott couldn’t do enough to help us. While me and my husband went to move the car Scott helped our daughter to carry the bags etc up to our room. He gave us directions to the Playhouse as we were watching a show there on the one evening. The breakfast,what more can I say there was everything there that you could won’t. Jars of fresh fruit,yogurt,cereal,orange juice. Toast is made fresh and so is the cooked breakfast. So you have to be prepared to wait(which wasn’t long) and you can tell that it is all fresh 😋😋. There are even sweets and mints in dishes when you come into the reception area. The stay was well worth the money and feel that nothing more could be done to improve our stay. Thank you Scott for everything.

A stone's throw from the Weston seafront but in a quiet area, excellent for resting, this lovely guest house evokes atmospheres of times gone by, with its common areas characterized by "old style" furnishings. The apartment in which we slept, created in a bow window, was small but welcoming, with a comfortable bed. A special mention for Judith and Scott, very kind hosts.

Stayed at highlea house was shocked when we got here as soon as we went in the door the paint work was filthy there was cobwebs on the ceiling .the furniture in the lounge was awful we seen better in second hand shop ,our room was sort of ok as we are both disabled there was nothing in place no grab rails shower was very small also the sink was cracked .the carpets was full of dogs hairs we were sat having a cup of tea in our room and we had some lodgers couple of bettles crawling across the carpet .so we just stayed the one night how people can say its spotless must have sun glasses on .I would advised not to stay here how definitely would not rate ita 9 more like 2 and don't take notice of the reviews ros and babs

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Scott was more than helpful accommodating our requests and the location was good. The room was clean with nice extra touches we weren't expecting and the bed was really comfortable. We have no hesitation recommending this hotel, and send our thanks to Scott.

Very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable bed however our room was crazy noisy. Could hear the traffic from the road as the windows were really poor quality plus from about 5am onwards we couldn’t sleep at all. You can hear people slamming doors (our bathroom door wouldn’t shut and I’m assuming other people had the same problem) could also hear peoples power showers and I could hear someone actually going to the toilet also. Very thin walls. Maybe other rooms are quieter. I would pay a little extra somewhere else and get a decent sleep.
