Fynbos Golf and Country Estate

Fynbos golf estate will definitely not see us again. Before we booked our 9 night stay we asked if there is a beach as kids wants to go fishing,and we would like to spend the day' s relaxing on the beach the answer was yes. Only to discover that you need to be a resident of Eersterivier to enter the electric gates (privately owned), golf estate manager gave us the pin( not allowed to actually as he mentioned to us) but once you enter there is no parking( as all property is privately owned) so on a daily basis we need to travel approximately 90km x2 just so the kids can have some fun on the beach) of this 10kmx2 are a terrible gravel road , they also fail to mention this. We complained about this on the day of arrival....after 4 days we had to call the office for clean towels. We shorted our stay with 2 days, and they refuse to assist with even a 50% refund. For price they are asking they can definitely include cleaning or for long stay include a day or 2 of cleaning. I called to ask if they have laundry service, and was told yes, but it is only for fynbos guest, when I mentioned we are guest, I was told only for hotel room guests not fynbos ridge...so this is definitely not for people looking for a relaxing holiday ..

Very pleasant spacious accommodation, kids loved it as well. Our stay was too short, we should have booked for longer, but we will be back - soon. And the club house will see more of us as well - best pizza ever ! We stayed in Albatros, AMAZING view so clean and everything you needed available.Bedding clean .Nice spacious rooms. We already booked for December !

Fynbos Golf course is a “Bucket List” golf course and should be experienced! The views are spectacular. The golf course is in good condition and the weather was perfect ! The greens are amazing the ⛳️ course is very challenging and the food is amazing , inside and outside seating with fireplace

Best restaurant serve , thanks alot Bongi and Monica , you will definitely see us again . Thanks for the kind serves , keep it up.. Must be the most scenic course. It gets more spectacular almost every hole. Lovely clubhouse with excellent food and attentive staff.

Went for an early dinner during school holidays it took 15 minutes to take orders no still or sparkling water available it took more than an hour to deliver the food maybe the chef was cooking for the barman as he was eating at the bar when delivered food was completely different what we ordered no apologies just eat no taste on the food whatsoever if we need to eat out in the area the food stall couple of kilometres away best place to eat stay away from the restaurant very disappointed
