This lovely cottage with under floor heating throughout and a log burning stove in the sitting room inglenook, sleeps four comfortably with a king size bed in the master bedroom and 2 singles in the second bedroom. There is an additional double sofa bed in the sitting room if required. This is an idyllic property for walkers, cyclists and those just wanting some time out to explore this lovely corner of Shropshire and Mid Wales. Cot and high chair are available on request. The cottage also has ample off road car parking with room for two vehicles. Best of Shropshire
What a really lovely property. Peaceful, quiet, and everything we could have wished for. The lovely cake Rosemary provided was perfect for afternoon tea every da.

This was the second cottage we stayed at during our 10 week adventure through the English countryside. Of the three cottages we stayed at (SW England, North England, at here in the Midlands/Wales area), this was our favorite. Rosemary, our host, was terrific, and the cottage was absolutely incredible. The two bedrooms and two baths were really great, the kitchen was well designed and spacious, and the laundry room with both a washing machine and separate tumble dryer was perfect. The property was countryside perfect, including some sheep and lambs. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We were able to use this as a base while we explored Noth and Mid Wales, the Midlands to my grandmothers birthplace. Leek, and even a ferry trip to Dublin.

Lovely comfortable house in beautiful surroundings
The house was cozy and warm, and lovely and quiet. We had a nice relaxing stay, garden is lovely and delicious homemade cake on arrival. Host was helpful and accomodating, and check in was easy. Nice walks from the cottage. Very close to the border with Wales, went to Powis Castle which is worth a visit. The local area is a bit sparse for shops, would recommend having a car, but Shrewsbury is a lovely historic town closeby, we used the park and ride (15 mins away). Definitely would recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peaceful countryside retreat!

Lovely setting and cottage
Five stars for everything - spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable cottage - we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely lemon cake - I think it was home baked, plus milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Rosemary made us feel welcome.

Fabulous cottage
This was our third stay in this delightful cottage. Full of character and very well equipped, cosy and comfortable. Peaceful location. Delightful garden. Always a warm welcome from Rosemary and delicious cake!! So much to see and do in Shropshire, you'll be spoilt for choice.
