Both the beauty and the service of Le Soleil d’Or proved to be amazing throughout our stay. First, the accommodations were luxurious and tranquil. We stayed in the Pink Guava room and, while the smallest room, was still perfect for my husband and myself. Because the main house also has a full living room, family room, laundry room, and full appointed kitchen, we wanted for nothing. The main house is right next to a lovely pool with flowering plants and fruit bearing trees. It smelled delicious every time we stepped out on the terrace. Just down the road is the beach club and we spent half our time there, enjoying the beach and pool. The biggest difference in this stay compared to other resorts was that we did not have the need to “race” for our spot. No need to hurry and save a chair, no rushing back for a reservation—it was the most indulgent 7 days of rest! Finally, the service at each of the restaurants was amazing. They greeted us warmly, took extra care to set a special table each evening, and the food was fresh from the farm. We enjoyed the special attention from each of the employees. Cheers!!

We stayed at the Beach Club Studio and really enjoyed our time here. The island is beautiful and this is where you want to go to get away from crowds and back to nature. Walking out to the beach every morning was wonderful. Everyone is friendly & welcoming. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. We would definitely come back. I would advise anyone staying in this unit to rent a car prior to arrival.

The hotel facilities are beautiful in the middle of nature that invades and is present in every corner. The rooms are luxurious and warm, a captivating combination. Being on a paradise island with such kind hosts is the best experience for a perfect vacation. Thank you Anush, Ismael, Silvia, Paul, Amar and Johnny for your love and thank you to everyone who is part of such an amazing hotel. Not to be missed, there is nothing like it!

Fantastic location, resort (small, bespoke), rooms, service, food and staff. We were looking for a low key, relaxation-forward, intimate location - and the resort scored 11 out of 10 across the board. We stayed in three of the rooms - Star Apple, Cherry Lime and the Farmhouse. Cherry Lime certainly the nicest in the main house. The farmhouse was a fully equipped apartment which could easily support 4-6 people (3 separate bedrooms), large living room, and full kitchen. The team - starting with the resort GM Amar was top notch, very attentive and supportive.

Beach Club. Excellent service, very friendly staff. The best thing about the place is the variety of cocktails made by Bartender Ismael, his service is spectacular, I ordered a caipirinha and it reminded me so much of Cuba, truly spectacular.

I cannot say enough good things about Le Soleil d’Or! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and loved every second of our stay. We stayed in Cherry Lime for 1 night and the Coast House for the remaining 5 days. Both were absolutely beautiful (see pictures attached). The view of the ocean from the wrap-around deck in Cherry Lime was lovely. Then we moved to the Coast House, which is right on the beach and has a private pool - the view is even better! The view of the stars at night is also so beautiful. The hotel is quiet and gave us a private & relaxing honeymoon. The farm-to-table restaurant was EXCELLENT! I am still thinking about the mushroom risotto and the lamb shank! We went to the Beach Club for lunch most days and the food and cocktails were great. Our favorite cocktails were the Basil Splash & berry frozen punch. One of the bartenders, Ishmael, also makes a delicious Cuban Sangria. I highly recommend the farm tour! It’s so impressive to see how much they are able to grow on top of the Bluff. Don’t skip the tour! The last thing I will mention is the wonderful staff! They decorated our bed with a beautiful, hand-made “happy honeymoon” sign & handled everything we needed with such ease. The hotel provides transportation to and from the Beach Club, which is so convenient. The kitchen of the Manor House (where Cherry Lime is located) and of the Coast House was well stocked with everything we needed. The weather was perfect. The pools and beaches were beautiful. The service was top-notch. We CANNOT WAIT to come back!
