Terrible! In an old unit, spacious but dirty, unkempt, a broken bed, insufficient cooking equipment to use full kitchen, unsafe for family (see electrical related photos), mould, and a 'void' into locked adjoining unit. Issues raised with management the following morning due to family commitments and isssues being discovered throughout the evening and in the morning. We requested to move units and were fortunate this could occur. This newer renovated 2 bed unit was excellent and could not fault it! This is the unit I had expected when we booked online initially. So if booking, ensure you ask to be in rooms as per website. Management refused to discount or refund our first night despite numerous emails as follow up. We felt minimised and blamed for raising issues and told we did not do so early enough - despite having done so as early as possible given we had 2 young children with us and that issues were discovered throughout evening and morning, not seen straight away as we were tending to dinner/kids bedtime/family. Very poor customer service other than accommodating a room change. After over at least 5 email exchanges we were offered a $50 refund which we declined as felt this was more about them wanting to settle rather than acknowledge and accept responsibility for issues. This really put a dampener on the end of our family holiday, is still not resolved, and we are lodging a complaint with the Commerce Commission currently.
