Lovely hotel perfect for our overnight stay mattress not very comfy a bit hard but overall a pleasant stay

Arrived to find groups of people drinking, smoking and shouting outside the entrance with dogs. Room was not great but ok. Whilst sitting in the restaurant area it became clear that it’s being used as a hostel for homeless people. I became more and more uncomfortable to the point I was getting scared as more people were coming in an out shouting at each other drinking. Went to room and we could hear the dogs barking on our floor. So after only staying 30 mins we checked out and went to another hotel. Raised a complaint to travelodge to get a refund as there is no warning on the website that they are using the hotel partially as a hostel as if they did I would not have booked.

Lost reservations had to show e mail then they found it nobody at reception when you need them…………..

Breakfast a joke no beans or mushrooms on the last day .Limited veggie option as it is . They charge for Broad band which is a joke . Staff need to smile and engage more ,I would not advise this place .When I was leaving a delivery driver was told he couldn't deliver a parcel to a room but the woman with the dyed hair spoke to him like a bit of dirt , the guy replied that's fine but could you put a smile on your face ,and ge turned to me and we both laughed .Check in 3pm arrived 10 mins before no one on the desk and a few people waiting for instructions . Positives its next to McDonalds and a pub . When we went for breakfast no one on the desk, the the lady with dyed hair came round and she was un happy because she didn't have our room number, her fault .

Travelodge Wellingborough Review The hotel is decent, well located - there is ample free parking space, check-in is quick and most of the rooms are quiet (especially ones facing the car park), clean, well decorated and comfortable. There is a McDonalds and a large pub close by while Wellingborough and Rushden Lakes are a short drive away. However – based on my own personal diabolical experience – some frequent guests use their room for long lasting machines operation and some disrupting activities (Gym?) throughout the evening and night, but – contrary to Travelodge’s Ts & Cs – the hotel’s staff and management turned a blind eye and failed to investigate and enforce them.

Stayed for business for one night. The room was clean and fresh, the staff were polite and helpful. Good location.
