Wayanad Wild - A CGH Earth Experience

Good resort.. great location and great trekking and walking experience ***** with the naturalists who were ever enthusiastic exploring the wilds… but leeches are a mess which are taken care of properly by the resort Food was good but could be better … especially breakfast and in case you have not taken all inclusive package… 2000₹ for a meal and 750₹ for breakfast is high. It’s located to the south of Wayanad district so far from wildlife safari and other tourist attractions… you need to hire a car and it would be tiresome at times to travel all the way..if not for the scenic drive. Morning safari is highly impossible as it takes nearly 1.5 hours from there and the ticket counter opens at 5:30. But the resort free drop and pick up to the parking down the hill is only from 5:30am to 5:30 pm . So we are charged for that. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable and clean. 5 points for that. Staff were all good, friendly and helpful. Overall had a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with pure air and light showers. Tip: I suggest that when visiting to take a stay that is in the town complete touring all the spots in 2 days. Then come to CGH Earth and relax thoroughly. That would be the best way to enjoy.

The staff is top-notch. They ensure that you have access to the best available amenities at the resort. The naturists are highly skilled, and I thoroughly enjoyed the night walks with them, as well as the midday and early morning short treks.

It was a wholesome and fulfilling experience, the staff were great, the place is gorgeous and the activities kept us engaged. The food was also great and the rooms were beautiful.. I would definitely recommend this to those seeking a ‘jungle experience’ yet not too far from civilization.

The staffs are very pleasant. The food is amazing but the spread could have more options. The wildlife experts have the apt knowledge. The in-house activities were interesting and engaging. I felt the need of more options of such activities for people coming for more than 2 days.

Wonderful people and awesome experience ⭐ highly recommended . The warmth we felt and nature connect was ultimate we will love to visit it again. Tasty food and rooms were very comforting those who are looking for calm holiday this is the best choice kids also have fun activities and nature trail to experience with cooking experience

The drive and the 20 minute jeep ride to the property was a challenge but once you got there it was just wonderful. Sounds of nature all around. The staff are a gem - young, enthusiastic, motivated, skilled and knowledgeable. I could go on. We had interesting talks about the biodiversity of the area. There were several walks and activities to experience this biodiversity. My husband could not participate in this because of mobility problems and activities to suit such individuals could be considered. However, buggies were available for transport if needed and staff were on hand if you needed help. The food was fantastic-so much variety and opportunity to experience local as well continental cuisine. Eating in some darkness was a challenge but we understood this was to protect nature. There was a big focus on sustainability and caring for the environment. This care and the various methods used was one of the highlight of our trip. Some issues re temperature of water in showers and road safety for walking needs looking at. Staff were open to addressing these issues when we gave them a feedback. A wonderful place and we will certainly be back.
