The Wauchope Motel

Went slightly off track to stay at the Wauchope Motel but really glad I did. Very friendly owner/staff made check in a breeze. Great facilities in the room, very clean, very quiet with a super comfortable bed. Best nights sleep for a while. Plenty of good advice on where to eat locally - finally decided to try the Wauchope Country Club which provides a discount on producing your room key. It was only a short flat walk away - I wasn't disappointed. I was able to park my vehicle right outside my room door which made it easy to unpack & repack. Would recommend anyone like me driving from Brisbane to Sydney consider a little detour to the Wauchope Motel for that over night stop over - you won't be disappointed.

The room met our approval beds were comfy ..very soft sheets..plenty of pillows . Lovely shower and bathroom facilities...Everything was as we expected...microwave..jug etc good TV. Friendly helpful management..willing to arrange delivery of food for customers..We would definitely would go back there if we are in the area again.. A very pretty area...close to lots of tourist attractions.

Dave was an excellent host, friendly and with tips about good places to eat. The room was refurbished with a good bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Don’t be disappointed by the outside appearance. Nice walk to shops and cafes. Trail bikes riders made a big mess on the verandah but Dave was there cleaning up next morning. I’d ask specifically for a refurbished room.
