3 different rooms in total!! First one… checked in and went for a walk. Came back, key card wouldn’t work. Workmen came onto my room and changer the door handles!! Shower curtain stunk, TV not working. Went to reception and was told that she’d come up to the room to check TV, but they are fully booked so can’t give me another room. Not being able to fix TV offered me another room? Moved to 2nd room… dirty towels propping door open and box with new door handle/lock inside Back to reception… 3rd room is dirty! Dinner One person serving drinks, taking food orders and serving food. Dirty and unmade tables all over the place… Starter came within 10 minutes… waited for 25 minutes for plate to be cleared. Another 20 minutes for main… tho she did come over and apologise for the delay and offered me another drink on the house (which I declined). Came down at 5:50, at 6:50 I still hadn’t had my main course, eventually arrived at 6:55. Left half of the main course… it was tasteless.

I arrived late in the evening and I was welcomed from the staff and it was actually very nice, they have answered all my questions with a smile…… I went to the room and it was very cleaned! Well done guys keep going like that…. I have met the manager in the morning and she was very helpful

Judy and Angelina, both on the front desk team, were incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to help us and make our stay good. I can't thank them enough or praise their professionalism highly enough. Thank you Judy and Angelina.

Good locations and clean comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast with plenty of choice. On west side of Watford, 15 min walk to the tube. Car parking £3 per 24hr. Tea and coffee in rooms. Staff friendly. Would stay again. Quiet location. Recommended.

Not a great first impression as the room I was given had bad mould in. I was given another room when I complained (thankfully without mould). Still, don't know how it had gone unnoticed, as it certainly stood out. Think I should have received a bit of money off for the inconvenience, honestly. I arrived about 10pm and had to be up at 5:30am, but then had to mess about going downstairs to talk to reception and switch rooms. I paid £232 for a three night stay, which, for a basic hotel, isn't cheap! The staff member on reception acted shocked when I showed him the photo of the mould, but it did seem like an exaggerated gasp. And from looking at the reviews on here, with several others complaining of mould in the rooms, I think my suspicions were correct. The place looks generally run down and tired, also. I noticed some bits of remnants on the hallway carpet which didn't move the entire time I was there, so the halls clearly aren't hoovered regularly. For the price per night, this place definitely needs some improvements. Maybe start with the mould problem...

The bed was sunken in the middle and the room and bathroom were not clean. There were dirt splashes on the tiles and the toilet had poop splashes left. The bathroom tap sprayed everywhere, making it very hard to use. For an accessible room, it was strange to have a shower over a bath. The bathroom door was hard to open and did not fully close making privacy difficult The room was chilly on entry too. The restaurant had ‘sticky’ tables and the whole area was generally run down. It was also very cold in there. We also had to pay for parking (although discounted) but disabled parking was right outside which was good.

I would have scored this place a 3 if it was not for the amazing service delivered by Savanha. We ordered some food which came quickly, looked awesome but was stone cold. S could not do more for us if she tried, quick to apologise and rectify, bringing out a fresh hot meal once cooked. Offered us drinks and deserts on the house and kept checking we were happy once rectified. Excellent service. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Hotel was peaceful with ample parking and just off a main A road. Close to local amenities. Saddly the hotel lacked * Toilets need upgrade * No Tspoons in the room. How do we stire drinks? * Breakfast tasted a bit rubbery and cold in the morning. This is unusual for Premier as their breakfasts are normally spot on. * We only had 1 pillow, lacked additional bedding in the room.
