Absolutely exceptional stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic. I think my room got upgraded because it had a fantastic large private balcony with a stunning view of the city . Exceptionally clean hotel . Lots of toiletries given. Their handsoap / shampoo is one of the nicest I've ever smelt . Also has a leisure center definitely stay again

Positives: Central location to shops, bars, restaurants Nice view from bar & restaurant Very comfortable bed and pillows Nice breakfast and friendly helpful staff Nice city to visit calm traffic system Downside: hall floorboards Limited Views from window, photo Bring earplugs if light sleeper with humming, u can turn off heat in bathroom with plug on outside. Very warm at night. Aircon turns off after an hour or 2

Had a beautiful meal at the Tower Hotel in Waterford yesterday evening. The decor of the bar/restaurant is absolutely beautiful. On arrival we got a beautiful table overlooking the river. Niamh was looking after our table. A beautiful menu with myself and my wife having the curry and our son having the chicken burger. The food arrived out in no time and the presentation was top class. Niamh checked in half way through our meal ensuring everything was ok for us. She was a really friendly lady and made our experience special. Looking forward to going back to the Tower Hotel in Waterford soon.

The Pier 37 has Live Music every Saturday. Beautiful views overlooking the bay, Great location, it’s close to all amenities. 13€ for a cocktail??! However the drinks are reg prices. Loads of wedding in the hotel so most are very Well dressed

We had lovely stay in Tower Hotel, found all staff to be extremely friendly. We had dinner in Hobsons restaurant and staff were extremely accommodating with our daughter who has dairy and egg allergy. The quality of our meal was excellent and again breakfast was equally as good. Looking forward to booking again in the future.

Great location and river views. Clean good size rooms if a bit plain, a picture on the wall would make it a bit nicer. The bed was way too soft and not great for your back. Food was passable but not great in both the bar and restaurant. Dried out chicken burger, superfood salad very poor. Chowder was nice. Service was poor but not from the lack of trying by the staff, just not enough of them and younger ones not trained. Breakfast basic for a 4 star and again poor service, had to go looking for tea and toast both days to get some before ending our meal, needs to be offered when you get the table. No chilled area for the yoghurt/ fruits which is a bit of a concern given food standards requirements - yoghurt can not be left out of a chilled area for hours.

This Hotel I can't recommend enough it should be a 5 star my husband and I stayed for 1 night and we were treated like royalty the room was immaculate , the food was absolutely delicious , the staff on the reception and the restaurant were 100% very obliging and friendly, the bed was so comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly, it was our first time there and it now certainly won't be our last.

Caroline and her staff looked after us for the weekend. We had 5 rooms booked for 2 nights for our family with two evening meals. It certainly paid off going and booking directly with the hotel. They gave us a fantastic deal and the rooms were amazing. The food in the hotel bar and main restaurant was delicious and the breakfast was amazing too. This was our second time staying in The Tower, and we have booked again later in the year. The leisure centre is small but adequate and the pool was nice. The staff from the front of house, bar, restaurant, and housekeeping were all lovely. The car park is too small and there are not enough parking spaces but when they have built their extension which includes a multi-storey car park it will be great and won't be an issue. Thanks again, as my family had a great weekend and we will be back.

Stayed in the Tower multiple times towards the end of 2024. I think about 15 times, always for one night, sometimes two. Couldn’t fault breakfast, lunch or dinner at the hotel. Always good food. Restaurant and bar food very good. Stayed in a lot of rooms. They are all to a similar design and style. Could of bottles of water for you in the room. Rooms facing the river are newer and some have balconies. These rooms had Nespresso machines and were a real treat when o got allocated them. Pool, gym and sauna are good. Changing rooms could do with a make over, a little tied. Location of hotel is perfect. Can’t wait to see this hotel when the extension is completed. Parking to the rear which is limited and first come first serve. Always got a space though so it works. All in its a solid 4 star hotel which makes an effort to go beyond that.
