I would rate my experience a 5 out of 10 (if that)...I had a gift certificate for an 8 night stay that I let expire (had it booked then got sick and had to cancel) They wouldn't honor it even for half the numbers of nights..I asked if they could honor for only 3 nights out of the 8? Nope!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful visit. Hosts Iris and Rafi were terrific, the house is beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, a quaint town with great dining options right down the road, and wonderful hiking within minutes. Second B&B ever, and I would definitely go back. Posted in Yelp, and it showed me coming from San Francisco, CA (??!!). We were up from MD.

Hosts Iris and Rafi were absolutely charming and made sure my 3 night visit was pleasant. My room (Pink) was spacious and very quiet. I enjoyed reading about the history of the house while having morning tea. Location was convenient to many Northern NJ locations I was visiting, while serving as a peaceful retreat. Everything was exactly what I was hoping for.

Iris and Rafi are wonderful hosts. The house is charming and well maintained. The area interested us because of the Columbia bike trail and the hiking. We had excellent weather for these outdoor activities and enjoyed the terrain as well as the fall foliage. We stayed in the blue room that was both charming and comfortable. The propeety is peaceful which lends itself to be relaxing. Rafi made us a fire in the fire pit which we enjoyed. We ate at BYOB restaurants that our hosts recommended and had delicious meals. We hope to return to this area ssoon and stay at this gem of a BnB.

We had a delightful 2 night stay at this hidden gem. Comfortable beds, clean and charming. We were made to feel right at home and definitely recommend this place for a relaxing, retreat like feel. The owners are beyond accommodating and the location is dreamy.

4 high school friends attending our 40th high school reunion stumbled upon this B&B on trip advisor. We snatched up all 4 rooms and so happy we did! Iris and Rafi were impeccable hosts. Everything was very clean and our every need was attended to. Would highly recommend and hope I get to visit again!

We needed a comfortable place to stay for a girls’ weekend that was nearby our high school reunion venue. The rooms were cozy and had all the necessities like great beds, hot water, strong a/c, plenty of outlets. We had the whole house to ourselves. The outdoor area is beautiful and we even had a huge fire pit to sit around late into the evening. The hosts provided a perfect continental breakfast. If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay in the Long Valley area, don’t hesitate to book here.

The Neighbour House B&B is tucked away in northwest NJ near Hackettstown where I have family that I was visiting. I knew I would have to work and have zoom meetings during my stay so I was looking for something away from traffic and city noises. I couldn't have picked a more outstanding place. This historic home has only four guestrooms and the first night I was there I had the place to myself. Others joined me by the second night but I never would have known they were there if I hadn't run into them during the breakfast hours. The owners, Rafi and Iris, were incredibly accommodating, visible when they needed to be and keeping to themselves otherwise. I never felt overwatched but somehow one or the other was always there when I had a question about something. They were able to recommend several nice places to eat, and provide some interesting info about the surrounding area. I would definitely stay there again when I go to visit my family in the future.
