Unfortunately there were only 2 young lads working in the whole hotel. They didn’t seem very knowledgable, they charged me for the stay although I had already paid through trip - they did refund me, but that was after I went to speak to them showing them my bank statement.. and my husband then had to go back again to get the refund sorted! For some reason speaking to me wasn’t enough!! They had hardly any meals available in the restaurant. Only burgers! The room itself needs a massive uplift, the bathroom looked really unclean and falling apart. Really sad stay considering it was part of a Christmas gift. Definitely won’t be returning.

The hotel and restaurant were clean and had everything you would expect from a Premier Inn. The bed was super comfy and the air con was great as it was a warm night. Check in process on self check in was super easy. Staff were available to help Downsides - I didn't eat in the restaurant but I heard the staff advise a guest that they should have made a reservation for the hotel restaurant which is not obvious anywhere and I wouldn't have thought to make a reservation personally considering the hotel is on a business estate so the public wouldn't eat there I'd not have thought so only people who would want to use the restaurant would be hotel guests. I don't recall it being on an email, in the room or advised upon check in that a reservation was needed so if this is the case, this should be very well advised in my opinion. The other major downside is there is no outside seating. It was a beautiful summer's day and evening and the hotel and bar was cold and dark. It felt very depressive. I would have just stayed at the hotel and eaten if there was outside seating.

We stayed for 2 nights. First night was boiling and so tried the aircon with no avail. Went to reception the next morning only to be told we weren’t allowed to touch the aircon in the room and we probably messed it up. How were we supposed to know not to touch it. Next night was also hot so I went down to ask if the aircon could be sorted and the receptionist went into the room only to emerge 5min later to say he sorted it. Went back to the room and nothing had changed, couldn’t even open any windows. Really restless night sleep for both nights. Breakfast was always short of items and people had to wait a for more items or go without. Nail in the coffin was we had to pay for parking even tho we were staying at the hotel. All in all we won’t be staying again

We arrived at 3pm and our rooms were not ready. We had a group booking for 4 rooms, and only 1 was available. We lost an hour having to wait around until the others were ready. We went to sit in the bar area, but left as it was pretty disgusting - dirty glasses and cutlery everywhere, dirty tables - it really had a grubby feel to it. Although our original booking had been for 5 rooms, I had called the contact centre on Wednesday to cancel 1 room. I received an email confirmation that this was done and i'd get a refund in 2-5 days, however upon check in was advised that was not the case. The lady on reception advised that she could not cancel it as I would be charged. I had to call again and was told the cancellation had not been put through. The person I spoke to did it again, but then told me the refund would take 7-11 days. Breakfast was a mess. The hotel was full, however the breakfast service seemed massively underprepared. We went down at 8.45am and found the coffee machine was out of order, there was very little hot food available most of the time with people queuing everywhere. Staff didn't seem to know what was going on - I heard them being asked repeatedly if more food would be brought out, but they couldn't answer. This really was not worth the money we paid for it. We've stayed in many Premier Inns as a family over the years, but this visit was very disappointing. Although our rooms were clean and had clean bedding, there were dubious stains up the walls in each room. Travelling from a way away, it's really frustrating to arrive at the stated check in time and have to wait an hour, in a bar area that is very dirty, and have issues with the booking that should have been resolved from the call centre. There was a print out that in each bedroom - word for word it states: "Dinner Service - DINER IS SEVERED 17.30-21.30" Summed it all up really :) The print out also says "Please enjoy a little treat on us!". This is not the case - there is nothing complimentary for guests. Not a good stay!

The staff here were great - helpful and really hard working. We slept really well too. However, there was massive understaffing at breakfast and they weren’t able to keep up with demand. There was no food on the hot buffet for 20 mins and there were no pastries and frozen berries. Management to blame here - the hotel was really busy on the night of 14th June, so why did’t they out more chefs and staff on? We have stayed in Premier Inns on many occasions and this was by far our worst breakfast experience.
