The Bond 1786 Inn

We had my parents 50th Anniversary party and Ash and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. No detail was too big or small and the evening was a night my parents will never forget. I Highly recommend the Bond 1786 for any event you’re planning. You will not be sorry❤️

We stayed here on a Sunday night. The hotel was quiet and private as there were only 2 other rooms booked. The room was clean, except the carpets which were in need of a shampoo. The king size bed was lush and very comfortable. But the room was smaller than we expected. The huge disappointment was the extremely heavy overwhelming perfumed smell that permeated the hallways. We barricaded the door with pillows and left our windows open all night. Otherwise we would not have been able to stay. I contacted the hotel directly to give this feedback and never got any response. While the grounds are a nice touch, sadly, I feel I would not choose to stay again because of the heavy smell.

2/17/2024 - Had my daughter's wedding at this beautiful venue. The wedding was in the main dining room with cocktail hour in the bar area with amazing d'oeuvres. All of the staff was perfectly attentive to our requests (both in advance and last minute). Several family members (+ bride/groom) stayed at the Inn which was awesome - clean and well stocked. While all of the staff was great, I'd like to give a special shout-out to Katie who went way above and beyond to care for all of us! Great job everyone :) I HIGHLY recommend for a small wedding or celebration.

LOOK ELSEWHERE. The property has been updated, but they have a long way to go. We arrived late in the evening and the host provided us with a log to start a fire in the fireplace. My husband did, and the room filled with smoke. The fire alarms went off, and no one from the property came to assist us. After several minutes a young lady came over from the restaurant & shut off the alarm. The smoke subsided so we thought we were all set. Within minutes the smoke started to back up again. At this point it was making me feel sick. We called again and the lady came back & threw water on it..of course that made things even worse!!! The room was so full of smoke we couldn’t see across it. We gathered all of our items & got ready to leave. The young lady from the restaurant started crying and told us that her boss (the owner) is a slum lord and doesn’t really care. We left the property and drove home. The host has still yet to reach out with an apology. Luckily Airbnb refunded our money after he refused. I never right negative reviews, but people need to be aware. Not to mention the surroundings are all beat down houses and the area is very poorly maintained.

Our room was very cozy and clean. It was quiet and comfortable. The room has everything you’d need including a closet with shelving, a fridge/freezer combo and a small table with 2 chairs for in-room meals. The sunroom off to the side is attached to an outdoor deck with rocking chairs. There were fruit, muffins, sliced bread, English muffins, Keurig with pods and milk available 24/7 in the sunroom. We checked in through the restaurant since we arrived at 8pm, staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Recently stayed several nights at this property. I selected a guest room on the first floor and was not disappointed with my choice. The room is spacious and the decor inviting. There is a wood fireplace with a starter log in it, an ice bucket and wine glasses, and a wine bottle opener. All impressive extra touches. The bedding is contemporary and comfortable with high-quality cotton. Plenty of pillows for extra comfort. Fantastic lighting and new carpeting. The bathroom is simple, yet well planned out and modern. The towels are bright white, fluffy and smelled delicious! Complementary personal care products were very good quality as well. The common areas were clean and brightly lit, and well appointed. There’s a lovely sitting area off of the patio, where you can have breakfast. There are small tables, a refrigerator with dairy products, fresh cereal, fresh fruit, coffee and tea, and even fresh bread for toasting. We never saw any of the other guests or any staff. When we got there it was pretty late so we went to the restaurant and the staff there had all of our check-in materials. We left very early in the morning and there was no one at the desk at that time. Only a half an hour drive to Gore mountain for great skiing and even summer activities. Even better is the Revolution Rail ride in North Creek. We really enjoyed riding the rails. The Bond has an adjacent restaurant with an outstanding menu and decor. Unfortunately they were very short staffed when we were there, but they were gracious about it! Food was great. There are several great breakfast places nearby. Overall I am very impressed with how this is being managed by the new owners and will definitely stay here again!
