La primera vez que vino a Wanning, experimenta una super buena experiencia, la primera vez que trato de hacer un viaje gratuito, realmente lo hizo muy bien, sin tasas adicionales. We chose to stay a night at Grand Hyatt Shenzhou Peninsula and initially hesitated due to Wanning’s light rain. However, the warm hospitality of the hotel butler and real-time weather updates convinced us. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided seamless service, assisting with luggage and inviting us to the Grand Club while our room was prepared. There, we met the Manager Esther and the proactive stuff Chen Jingjing, whose thoughtful service led us to upgrade our stay. Esther’s constant care—reminding us of temperature changes and safety tips—along with Jingjing’s attentive service, made us feel truly valued.
Beyond the hotel’s comfort, Esther also shared excellent travel tips, making our stay even more enjoyable. Their warm service left such an impression that we decided to extend for another night—because of Esther! What started with hesitation due to the rain turned into a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

UUsuario invitadoI will definitely revisit this unique B&B. Upon arrival I was given a free upgrade before I got the chance to pay for an upgrade. The facilities are outstanding and the staff were amazing throughout. As a foreigner its not always easy to communicate. Free parking is available along with free shuttle to the main Riyuan strip. I was even allowed an extra hour to check out. Thank you for a Wonderfull experience.

The staff were professional and considerate, handling check-in efficiently and answering all my questions with great patience, making me feel right at home. They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel.
The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure.
The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. The hotel also offers leisure facilities like a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out.
Every moment spent at Footprint Homestay was comfortable and enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

UUlla MarkettaThe hotel was very nice and staff very friendly They upgraded my room upon arrival. Breakfast was great. There was 2-3 restaurants in the resort area to choose from and food was good, plus served nicely. However hotel was a little far from beach and other services, around 4-5km. And no good public pool for swimming either.

KKelkooIt’s a 20 min walk to the beach - I’d recommend renting a scooter if you are staying for more than a night. The walking route is through some dusty road in repair and you have to cross some sort of highway - not the most convenient. Though it’s located in a lively neighborhood with lots of food options.
The reception area is sort of messy and there’s no real space to hangout. It feels more like an unfinished lobby space with carton boxes on one side and work out equipments on another. Could be better so arriving residents can feel more welcomed.

UUsuario invitadoThe dorm room needs a rail for hanging clothes or the hostel could provide a place to dry clothes in general, especially since so many people come from the beach. During rainy days we had to hang our clothes off the curtain rail. Everything else was good for the price I paid. I really enjoyed chilling in the bar and the location is up-and-coming, nice with some new bars and cafes opening soon. Coffee was a bit up and down, depending who made it ;)

TTattle TatsLocation: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities.
Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly.
Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory.
I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort.
***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think.
I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one.
All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂
