The Wesley Walla Walla

My wife and I were in WW for one day and wanted somewhere near downtown to spend the evening. We found the Wesley to be very nice and convenient to the downtown area. The facility is very quaint. Because of the time of year and the weather we didn't take advantage of the large outdoor seating area. The room was quite large with a bathroom area almost equal in size. The kitchenette had a microwave, dorm refrigerator and the ability to make our own coffee with either a French Press of Drip machine. The TV system is handled by Roku, which I am not familiar with. I finally figured out that I could use my YouTube TV account for local news and weather. Just a few constructive comments. The reading lamps on either side of the bed were old telescoping lights that would not stay in position. Also the bulbs were dim incandescent style that didn't afford much light for reading. I would replace these with newer, adjustable LED lights. The very large walk-in shower was very nice but lacked any sort of hand rails. Adding either a horizontal and/or vertical handrail would be a great convenience and add safety. Overall, we were very pleased with our overnight experience.

What an amazing find! Our original plans fell through and we wanted a last minute semi-local stay (we are about 1 hour away). We are beyond please with our micro-vaca at The Wesley Micro-Resort. The host is very helpful and responsive from the day you check in until you leave. The grounds are beautiful, can't praise the aesthetics enough. Common areas and our suite are not only clean but fun and inviting. We enjoyed a private soak for about an hour in the quiet night mist and some relaxing time by a firepit. Walking distance from good food and fun shops too!

We only stayed for one night which means we didn’t get to use the outside area. It is really beautiful! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We liked the little touches like the outlets having usb ports. There wasn’t a closet in our room but they had a bar with ample room to hang stuff. Outside the second story rooms was a little kitchen with appliances and coffee. We also had a complimentary bottle of wine! The best is the location easy walking to downtown Walla Walla. The only negative I have was the bathroom lighting was bad so a lighted make up mirror would have been a plus.

We loved our stay at the Wesley! We stayed in suite 1A and found it beautifully decorated and comfortable. Check in was easy and the management communicated well throughout the check in process. The grounds are beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing outside in the peaceful setting enjoying our wine. We also enjoyed the hot tub and stock tank pool. I'd highly recommend staying here if you are traveling to Walla Walla.
