Do not trust! We had made a reservation on ********** for four nights just before the pandemic struck. Then the lodge in a very friendly way pleaded with us to change the reservation into a voucher and not demand repayment from **********. This we did. After making one more attempt to rebook our stay - which again had to be cancelled due to Covid travel restrictions - the lodge refused to answer our e-mails. Good bye EUR 1.300! We travel a lot and all our reservations due to Covid were later honored - from South Africa to the US to Brasil. I would have never imagined that New Zealanders would not honor their (voucher)-promise. We went wrong.
