Laxmi Dormitory

I stayed at the Lakshmi Dorm for nine days. I had never been in a dorm before, so I was cautious. They initially assigned me an upper bed, but following my request, they confirmed a lower bed for the nine days. After being there for 9 days, I can say it was one of the best decisions I made on my trip. The dorm is in the heart of the city, therefore Iskon, Prem Mandir, and Radha Kelikunj are nearby. You can take the E-rick to any of these locations for Rs. 10 or walk. Cleanliness is key to me. The toilets and the entire dorm were pretty neat. Given that people come and go, if anybody has left a mess, it was addressed as soon as it was reported. Bedsheets were changed every three to four days. From a shared space perspective, I like calm and quieter places, which I wasn't sure if the dorm would be. But to my surprise, it was rather quiet, and the manager made sure to remind people to keep their noise levels down if they disturbed others. The only minor issue I had was that my neighbor's bed had bed bugs, which may be rather annoying if they come with us to our houses. To get rid of them, the management replaced the mattress. That said, there were no bedbugs on my bed. I heartily recommend the dorm as a female solo traveler because the staff is really helpful and understanding. Throughout the visit, I felt totally secure.

My stay at Laxmi Dormitory, Vrindavan, was excellent. The single biggest asset is the prime location, offering walking distance access to both Prem Mandir and ISKCON Temple. The cleanliness is outstanding—the beds and shared washrooms were consistently spotless. Amenities like 24/7 AC and helpful staff made the stay very comfortable. My only hesitation is the price point. It is noticeably higher than other serviceable options nearby. While the high quality and convenience justify a premium, a minor adjustment or the inclusion of a free service (like breakfast/coffee) would make it perfect value for money. Highly recommended for travelers prioritizing comfort, safety, and location.

I stayed at Laxmi Dormitory during my solo trip to Vrindavan, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The location is ideal and near to all the prominent temples and spiritual spots like Radha Keli Kunj, ISKCON, and Prem Mandir. The rooms and washrooms were very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay comfortable. They also provide individual lockers, which is a great plus for solo travellers. Overall, I’m really happy with my stay here.
