I cannot fault the staff for their friendliness and efficiency, especially Anna in the restaurant who went above and beyond everyday. Our room, block 6) was dated and basic and the cleaner did not clean every day and changed the towels infrequently. Our bed linen was not changed during the week’s stay. The balcony door had a broken lock, and being on the ground floor this was concerning, but after telling reception it was repaired that day. Breakfast was acceptable although all the fresh fruit was covered with syrups (unacceptable for a diabetic) with pears etc hidden behind the counter. Most of the choices were only average but better than the dinners which were poor and lacking in imagination. Even the Greek salad was unpleasant with lettuce bulking up the dish. Meats and vegetables were overcooked and had been standing a while, so cool and desserts were pure sugar, Generally I cannot see how this is rated a 4/5 star hotel.
