I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was beyond disappointing. The entire place is outdated, poorly maintained, and simply not worth the stay. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The room was dirty, I had to clean it myself just to feel somewhat comfortable. The bedsheets and pillowcases had visible stains, and the mosquito nets were full of holes and smelled terrible, making them completely useless. We ended up battling bugs all night, which left my children traumatized. The bathroom was no better. The shower was filthy, and the shower curtain looked like it hadn’t been washed in ages. It’s shocking that a place in this condition is still operating. The only redeeming qualities were the pool and the staff. The pool itself was nice, but the pool beds were old and rusted. The food was decent, but they recycled the same meals for both lunch and dinner, which became monotonous. Despite everything, I have to commend the staff—they were kind, welcoming, and did their best under the circumstances. Unfortunately, good service can’t make up for the horrible state of the hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay elsewhere if you value cleanliness, comfort, and a decent night’s sleep.

We spent two nights at Voi Wildlife Lodge and had a fantastic experience. The lodge is charming, with excellent food, and I thoroughly enjoyed the swimming facilities. It’s a beautiful and delightful retreat in the heart of Tsavo East..we really enjoyed our stay here.

I have stayed so many times over the years and I am always delighted to return to such lovely staff who always make you feel so very welcome, my room is always ready for my arrival, the buffet food provides something for everyone and I am a fussy eater as were my children when younger and with me on our holidays - the pools are immaculately clean, housekeeping go over and above cleaning your rooms and will provide extra bottles of water etc if required, never let down seeing the wild life and this really is my go to happy place, thank you to everyone for making my friend feel so welcome on her first trip to Kenya, she will return, also thank you for my gifts, already miss what I now call my Voi Wildlife family -

My wife and I had a delightful overnight stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge. The lodge is perfectly situated, offering stunning views of the Tsavo East landscape and a watering hole where we could watch wildlife right from the comfort of the lodge. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing a perfect blend of comfort and connection to nature. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which added a personal touch to our experience. The meals were excellent, with a variety of delicious options to choose from, and dining while overlooking the wildlife was an unforgettable experience. Overall, our stay was peaceful and rejuvenating. Voi Wildlife Lodge is a great choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Tsavo East. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

We got to the lodge at around 11pm. I would say that the hospitality is mostly good especially at the canteen. Once we arrived at our rooms, things got worse. Inside we found several large crickets and bugs that were scattered everywhere. They just kept coming back. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone highly hygienic.

We stayed at voi safari lodge that nothing short of amusement. The food was absolutely tasty and fantastic, fresh food buffer at every meal .wow, our room? Spotless clean and super comfy.. the best part? It faced the park we spent hours just sitting on the balcony watching elephants roaming right outside. We truly enjoyed every bit of our stay and would highly recommend voi wildlife lodge to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and unforgettable experience in tsavo east. Can't wait to come back.

Our one-night stay at Voi Wildlife Lodge was absolutely amazing! The lodge offers stunning views of the savannah, and we were lucky to see wildlife right from the premises. Our stay at the safari lodge in Kenya was truly unforgettable. The breathtaking views of the waterhole, where elephants gathered, created a magical atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive—although there were no towels in our room at first, they were promptly delivered upon request. We had two wonderful game drives with James! He was super friendly, told us a lot about Tsavo-East National Park and answered all our questions. We saw elephants, giraffes, lions and even a cheetah. We can fully recommend the tours with James!
