Read the rewievs here before booking a room. They did a great job fixing former problems. The reception staff was brilliant. A long line but they worked quick and gave amazing service. Our room was great. We booked a premium family room. Got two bedrooms that could be closed off with a sliding door. Two bathrooms with two showers and a bathtub. Fantastic room, nice interior design and a lot of space. Way higher standard than we expected. The food in the restaurant was also good. Much better than expected from this kind of establishment. They even had a decent champagne selection! They had a nanny service that could be used during dinner, coloring books, crayons and a play pen in the restaurant. Every parents dream. However, our waiter was young and untrained but friendly and service minded. The champagne we wanted wasn't chilled but we told here we saw one in the wine cooler in the reception. We waited and waited and when she finally came around so we could ask her she some how got the idea that we would leave our dinner table to go grab it ourselves. So yes, very untraind. We didn't get any forks and knives either. No one was around so finally we went inside and grabbed it ourselves. When we wanted to pay no one was around so we had to go back into the restaurant again and ask someone behind the bar. But both drinks, food and the child amenities were fantastic! We had the same experience at breakfast. We arrived 15 min before closing. There were no fresh buns, a few items were finished and people from the staff was eating from the breakfast buffet and cutting the line in front of guests. The tables weren't clean and there were a lot of dirty plates sitting out. It's not a good look for staff to be eating when there's dirty dishes and crumbles all over. When more staff started to join all of a sudden they refilled the platters and fresh buns appeared. Like I said it's not a good look but over all the breakfast was great. Several dishes, fresh fruit and plenty of gluten-free and milk-free options. For me it's always a struggle to find something but here were plenty of options. We will definitely come back next time we visit Astrid Lindgren's world. We had a lovely stay that exceeded our expectation! Having a small water park, playground and mini golf close buy was great aswell! But hopefully buy then the hotel sorted out thier staffing situation in the restaurant. It's such a same that small things like that affect an over all very positive experience.

It was okay. The room was okay, even though the bathtop didn't work probably for 2 days. The food was okay. It wasn't a bad stay neither good, it was okay. The staff was nice though and had a good humor......................................
