Parque Mourabel, Oasis Village & Pe do Lago

Actualmente me alojo aquí, reservé una habitación superior, solicité un gran balcón soleado y eso es exactamente lo que obtuvimos. El balcón necesita una mano de pintura, las tumbonas en el balcón podrían limpiarse. El apartamento tiene todo lo que necesitas para autoabastecerte si así lo deseas. Mi hija llegó y reservó un apartamento superior. Al llegar recibió un paquete de bienvenida con té, café, agua, leche y una botella de vino. No entendimos esto. Preguntamos en recepción y confirmaron que deberíamos haber recibido un paquete de bienvenida. Recibimos 2 días después, faltaba vino. No se está realizando ninguna limpieza en este momento, se proporciona un balde para trapeador, bolsas de basura para cepillos y líquido para lavar platos. Si necesitas papel higiénico, toallas, sábanas etc los solicitas. El aire acondicionado era fantástico por la noche, ya que hacía frío. La habitación estaba calentita en minutos. Entramos al puerto deportivo la mayoría de los días, una encantadora caminata de 20 minutos. Un uber costaría 3,50 €, muy barato. Entramos en quateria varias veces cada hora de caminata. Encontré un bar encantador llamado The Hut, cócteles a 4 €, cerveza a 2 € la pinta, vino a 2 € la copa. También hacen comida, aún no la he probado. Visité el restaurante indio Haweli en varias ocasiones, curry fantástico, carne y vegetariano. Vinos, cervezas, etc. Comida para 4 personas que incluye 2 botellas de vino y unas cervezas 70 €. Bar del hotel, bebidas pequeñas, cerveza muy razonable y copa de vino por 3,50 €. Lidl cuesta 8 € en Uber si quieres autoabastecerte. Intermarche también está bien abastecido y tiene un precio razonable. Definitivamente volvería a reservar, si el precio es correcto.

We booked a two bedroom upgraded apartment as we were travelling as a couple with our daughter and granddaughter so we didn't want to be making beds up every night in the sitting room. We were in the oasis block, so no balcony but a grassy area at the front with a table and chairs. We were advised that the apartment had been recently refurbished and it was clean and freshly painted. A bit too freshly painted as there was a strong paint smell. After a couple of days leaving the windows open it did die down. Although initially the upgraded apartment looked great there were some neglected areas that could easily be rectified. Cupboard doors that didn't sit straight and didn't shut properly. Shower screen didn't quite manage to stay shut meaning water sprayed through. A front door that was a bit swollen and difficult to shut. The sitting room has two sofas that are actually single beds with mattresses and a back to lean cushions against. Good for extra guests but way too wide to sit on comfortably. The apartment was laid out over two floors, with the two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath. Downstairs was the sitting room, dining area and large kitchen, a further bathroom with a walk in shower. Stairs look beautiful and are marble but be careful if you are wearing socks. Lots of storage space. Kitchen equipped with full oven and hob, fridge freezer and a lot of kitchen equipment. The oven was a bit hot, we put a pizza in the oven that should have taken around 10 mins and after 6 mins it was charcoal. Beds were not the comfiest I have encountered but not as bad as some hotels. We also had a couple of days where we didn't open the windows as the weather was quite wet and cool. Our clothes and bedding started getting damp so we would recommend opening the windows upstairs every day for a while. The air-conditioning also does heating which came in useful on cool mornings and evenings. We didn't use the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on food. Also we didn't get chance to use the pools due to the weather. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here. It was very good value for money. It is a little bit out of the way if you enjoy the beach and the harbour but we hired a car and explored a lot of different areas. Plenty of parking including gated areas for the block.

Wish We could stay forever. Reduced to 6 weeks only due to health concerns. Give us Portuguese citizenship anytime. Try to book same apartment each visit and always succeed thanks to reception/ management staff. One bedroom ,en suite, washing machine, dishwasher, dining cutlery etc. for four . TV in living room and bedroom .

We are a golfing couple and stayed for a few days at the end of January. We found the Mourabel surprisingly busy and all guests enjoying their stay. The upgraded room was great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will most certainly be returning. Thanks Mourabel.

We Stayed in Oasis Village for one week. Our room was very clean, well equipped and spacious. We had two heaters provided but the 1st couple of nights we were cold. Extra blankets provided came in handy. The bar was very good service and prices very good. Shuttle bus driver was very helpful and friendly. The walk to the Marina was easy and a nice walk. Shop nearby had everything you need to self cater. Our view wasnt great overlooking the building yard and near a main road. Balcony very small but we didnt sit out much due to the time of year. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the grounds and gardens are immaculate.

Just back from a short break here following a great stay previously. Start with the restaurant, we ate here both evenings and the meals are absolutely fantastic along with the service. Reception and bar areas clean with friendly staff. Now onto the room, disgusting smell of fish for the entire stay! Says in bathroom that rooms are sanitised between guests, unfortunately this definitely wasn’t the case for our room and hence the reason we won’t be returning to the hotel, however we will find alternative accommodation nearby as the restaurant is fantastic.
