Wellesley Resort Fiji

The resort is beautiful. Riz and his staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The pool was pristine and the gardens green and lush. The beach is a short walk away and is a safe spot to swim. The food was great and I especially loved breakfast.

Lovely spot in a secluded quiet area along the Coral Coast. The rooms were huge and very clean, the personal swimming pools were great too. There was nothing better than getting up in the morning and having a quick dip. The two things that really stood out for wellesley resort was the food and how nice the staff were. The food was honestly the nicest food i had in all of fiji, the breakfasts were lovely with loads of fresh fruit and smoothies. This spot is the perfect place for a couple looking to have some relaxing time with excellent food.

Fabulous quiet and relaxing place. surrounded by nature in front of a magnificent private beach. the staff are charming and attentive. well located on the island, close to the diving centers. Thanks to Tanelia for the warm welcome and to chef Raj for his cuisine. I highly recommend. Lyna

Stayed here for five days, is small resort with a lovely staff, I stayed in the pool vila , nice large room , well clean, the resort have nice big pool and 3 minutes walking distance to the beach, is nice and quiet place , to relax and enjoy the beach, nice for snorkeling. The food was great, breakfast , lunch , dinner were delicious and well presented thank you Mr Raj (chef). All the staff were nice and polite , I felt like my family, them attention was always around me.(TANIELA) thank you. Thank you very much Iliseva, Alisi, Vilive, Onisimo,Shabir and the manger VIKa. Paradise lost” Potentially a treasure, location of the highest order . Beautifully unique with its crystal clear waters , sandy beach and great snorkelling . Sadly despite the staffs best efforts to work with what they have to make our holiday special the resort is unloved by the owners. They must decide it they want make it a premier location on the coast or let it fall into further decay. We feel some much needed love and desire to give guests what they paid for would be all it would take . The location deserves so much more . We weren’t expecting 5 stars by any means but were disappointed even so . Wouldn’t take much tho to get it there . It’s really worth the effort as it truly is something special and just needs to be bought back to its former glory .

Overall, service was good. The beach location is a major plus. A private beach for you to swim and chill out on. The room itself was clean, was cleaned in a timely manner too by staff. The only downsides to the stay is the internet wifi is absolutely terrible, virtually non-existent. If you are stuck during a cyclone, God help you. The wifi is only available in the reception/ dining area and its a tiny pocket wifi. Because of the remote location, there is no data reception even if you have a FJ sim card. They only switch it on certain times too. Pretty bad. There wasn't much things to do, would've been nice if there was snorkelling gear, SUP boards to take advantage of the nice beach. Food was ok, but very limited options. There was no mention aswell of massage therapy services even though it says on the website. They need to do a bit more work, post covid re-opening.
