We booked a room on the second floor several months in advance. We received an email confirmation a few days before our trip, and we noticed that we’d been moved to a different room on the first floor. We asked if we could be moved to any room on the second floor, and we were told that nothing was available. We stayed almost a week and, for most of our stay, the motel was almost empty. It only filled-up on the weekend. It was very confusing and frustrating. The floors needed to be mopped. (Our feet/socks got dirty as we walked around.) Other than that, the room seemed very clean. The décor is wonderful and fun. The motel policy states that quiet hours begin at 10pm nightly. However, a group sat around the pool playing music and talking loudly until after midnight one night. Normally, we wouldn’t have minded too much, but we had to catch an early flight the next day. We stopped by the front office twice (during business hours) to ask a question, but no one was there, and the door was locked. In-room information stated that the property was purchased by an investor from Tennessee in March 2023. Maybe the place is starting to go downhill. It felt like none of the employees/management really cared, and no one was on-site much of the time.
