Perantzada Hotel 1811

I was led to believe I would have a sea view room. Instead, I got a cold dark tiny room. Staff and faculty a 5. The red passion room looks at a wall. Didn’t sleep a wink. Unseasonably cold. Room an icebox. Very accommodating but will they move me to a better room? I’m solo. So couples get the best!

This place is an absolute paradise,my room was in the newest perantzada's building with a stunning view,I completely fell in love with this magical art hotel and to mention the hospitality the staff provided me was truly amazing,their flavourful breakfast which has a lot of options both for vegetarians and vegans as well.Overall I recommend this well-preserved and amazing hotel to everybody

When someone asks who the nicest people on the planet are, tell them they live in Ithaca. And the nicest of these run and work in this hotel. Myself, wife and 12 year-old daughter spent three nights and four days here. Very thoughtful staff who were very attentive in a non-intrusive way. Breakfast was limited on choice but what was there was very fresh and very tasty. At no time did we feel anything but full. Our room was very clean and well serviced with high standards of furniture and fittings befitting a hotel of this standard. All in a great boutique hotel with incredible service. We will definitely go back!!!!

This hotel was as close to perfect as you can get. Antonio and Katerina were lovely, friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were very comfortable, room cleaned daily, breakfast was lovely. The pool was quite small, and cold, but that was due to being so early in the season, it didn’t stop us swimming. The one and only downfall was lack of handrails on the many concrete steps but Antonio told us that is being addressed. We would return there in a heartbeat and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful, quiet break on a beautiful island.

We just returned home from a 6 night stay at the Perantzada hotel and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a charming boutique hotel that’s situated in a fantastic location with the most attentive staff. Both Antonio and Katerina couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge on the local area including good restaurants, businesses and beaches, so we recommend taking note of their suggestions if interested. We hired a car and small speed boat during our stay, both of which Antonio and Katerina arranged for us. Their third party providers for this were good value and reliable. Certainly worth getting on the road / sea to see some of Ithaca’s best spots. Road parking free and easy to access from the hotel. House keeping did a great job. It’s the subtle details that stood out, the room was always ready when we returned from breakfast but we never felt rushed to be out so they could get in. It felt seamless yet relaxed which was appreciated. Breakfast generous in its continental options, some hot options too and eggs could be ordered to preference. Hot drinks, juice etc all available. The swimming pool was perfectly suited to a boutique hotel and looked out on Vathy harbour. Our stay was at the start of the season so plenty of seating and beds for the number of guests staying at the time. There’s a small beach where you can swim which takes about 10 mins to walk to. Otherwise bigger beaches with facilities within close driving distance. Lastly, Mojito’s fab! Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to returning soon.

We stayed in the Gardenia Suite of the Perantzada Hotel for 3 nights and loved every minute of it - and we didn't want to leave. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and very welcoming. There is interesting art, artefacts and books everywhere and the view over Vathy bay is breathtaking. Our suite was very comfortable - with 2 rooms and a bathroom - and the design and attenton to detail is great. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, with fresh local and homemade produce - and no matter how many cups of green tea I asked there was always another cup on offer. The infinity pool and outdoor seating area is beautifully positioned and very inviting. The team are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. To the point where you feel like you're in the home of a very generous and kind friend. A hotel like this is very rare to find and one to cherish and keep coming back to.
