Baia Delphis Resort

We had a double sea view room with a very comfortable large bed, top quality bedding, plentiful supply of lovely toiletries and a balcony with two chairs and a table to sit and enjoy the beautiful view (and the sunrise if you are an early riser!) The junior suites are larger and have their own small gardens and rooftop terraces. Housekeeping staff provided an excellent service. Air conditioning only activates at 23° and it is impossible to lower the temperature. We would have preferred a lower setting as we prefer a cooler room. Bathroom light motion sensor is located too near the door so when light goes off it can’t be reactivated from the far side of the bathroom. This is irritating but only a minor point. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful beach setting with a good and reasonably priced beach bar open until 7pm. We thought the sunbed lawn above the beach would be better without the hedge as this blocks view of and breeze from the sea - although our sunbeds (room 18) had the best location with a view and a breeze, so we were very happy! Beach shoes definitely needed on the pebbly beach, although it is quite a steep incline into the sea. Not a problem for most people, but we only swam in the sea once and preferred the small but fabulous jacuzzi swimming pool! Excellent breakfast buffet with eggs prepared fresh to order and particularly good omelettes. Restaurant food is superb and dinner includes a welcome glass of prosecco and a small savoury appetiser. We ate here twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Highly recommended. Ask the staff to book a table for lunch at Trabocco Cungarelle. If you don't want to drive it is possible to walk along the green cycle/pedestrian path along the coast from the hotel (about 3 km each way). There are only four taxis in Vasto, so make sure you ask the hotel to book a taxi in advance both ways if you want to eat dinner in the town and don't want to drive. If you are flying from Pescara airport it is worth knowing that there is an excellent restaurant on the first floor of the airport. The hotel is quite difficult to find and we kept missing the small turning. There is a small sign on the opposite side of the road, but signs on both sides would help in locating it.

We stayed here for 5 days and loved every minute of it. The room was beautifully decorated with a rooftop terrace that was perfect for wine and ocean views in the evening. Augustus and Valeria were very kind, patient, and caring doing whatever it took to meet our needs.. Food, drinks and service at the hotel restaurant were all wonderful for both dinner and breakfast. The location is perfect for touring Vasto and for winetasting at the Fonte Fico winery and shoppping in the area. Our weather was fabulous for the most part and floating in the Adriatic on one of the rafts provided was sublime. The drinks and lunch at the pool/bar and grill were great. We also enjoyed the fact that each room has 2 chaises with umbrella designated for it so there are no worries about getting a chair to sunbathe in. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area. I will concede that it is a bit difficult to find, but once you do, it is so worth it. Hoping to return someday soon. Ho soggiornato 9 giorni presso questa struttura. Un luogo dove riposare e sentirsi coccolati. Personale molto gentile e attento. Ottima la pulizia delle camere e la cura in tutta la struttura. Fantastico il pranzo al mare con i cuochi che cucinano in diretta pesce freschissimo. Un solo appunto.. scrivere sul menu quando e’ presente pesce crudo 😬 Tornerei sicuramente in questa struttura ideale per coppie in cerca di relax.

Un resort splendido . Ideale per chi vuole trascorrere le vacanze in totale relax . Ogni suite vista mare ha il giardino privato e l’accesso al propio roof top attrezzato con salottino. Tutta la struttura è immersa in un bellissimo giardino. Ha una zona piscina e spiaggia attrezzata. Colazione e cena sulla terrazza del ristorante vista mare lascia senza parole. Il personale dell’hotel è professionale, gentile e attento alle richieste dei clienti. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi è interessato ad una vacanza rilassante.

Questa è la mia prima recensione, ma non posso esimermi dal fare i miei complimenti e quelli di mia moglie alla proprietà, in quanto, siete riusciti a trovare collaboratori davvero cordiali, efficienti, premurosi, incominciando dal Sig. Nicolas il quale ci ha accolti all'arrivo in modo davvero gentile per proseguire anche nel giorno seguente, e si sentiva che era sincera gentilezza, il collaboratore Manuel sempre attento, la Signora Barbara al Bar in spiaggia che ha coccolato mia moglie....... Complimenti anche allo chef davvero bravo. Insomma consiglio consiglio sinceramente questo piccolo paradiso.

Nulla da eccepire sulla struttura, molto carina, anche se la stanza e soprattutto il bagno sono piccolini e, come pare d'abitudine in Italia, senza possibilita' di farsi un caffe' in camera con un banalissimo bollitore e una nespresso. Parco ben curato, posizione direttamente sul mare. Colazione direi basica. Quello che ci ha un po stupito e' stato il trattamento direi freddino e teso al cross-selling. Arrivati alle 7.30 di sera di ritorno dalle Tremiti, ci e' stato subito proposto un late check-out per il giorno dopo al prezzo di meta' tariffa pagata, poi ridotto a 100 eur in via "del tutto eccezionale". Ora, avendo pagato 250 per poche ore di riposo tra le isole e un aereo da FCO la sera dopo, ed essendo la struttura praticamente vuota, mi sarei aspettato una cosa diversa ma tant'e'. A noi e' andata meglio cosi avendo avuto la possibilita di vedere un altro bell'angolo di Abbruzzo e, per la stessa cifra propostaci, beneficiato di lettini, ombrellone e un pranzo spettacolare in spiaggia comprensivo di spaghetto ai ricci. Comunque sia, avendo parlato un po' con delle persone del posto rispetto a queste poche nuove strutture diciamo 'luxury' o da 'small leading hotel' che stanno nascendo da queste parti, tutto bene ma, oltre ai prezzi, bisognerebbe adeguare anche l'attenzione al cliente altrimenti a questi rimane l'idea di aver speso quanto a Ibiza o Mykonos per stare, e per poche ore, pur sempre nella splendida cornice di Vasto a 10 km da tutto. Vista la bellezza di tutta la costa e dell'entroterra, direi di spendere magari meno, molto meno, per la camera, forse in uno dei tanti agriturismi dell'area dove l'accoglienza potrebbe essere anche superiore, e di investire sulle esperienze day and night, dalle gite in barca alle cene in trabocco etc..
