It’s a nice guest house near assi ghat . Stayed here for two nights with a friend , the hospitality was wonderful . The owners really took extra care to make all the necessary arrangements including boat rides , auto rides and airport drops . The location is superb , very close to assi ghat yet on the quieter side of the road . Would recommend this place for its value pricing , hospitality and if you’re travelling with friends .

Location is good, very close to Assi Ghat. Hotel owner is friendly. We asked some advice how to spend 2 days in Varanasi, but he just replied "ask some other guests", so this was a bit strange. Breakfast is served rather late (from 9 AM onwards). But... There are no bed sheets provided, only blankets. Me and my partner used 2 different blankets, I had horrible bed bugs bites after staying here (＞ 100). My partner did not have any.

We chose Banaras guest house based on the price and location. Later we learned that was the best choice we could have made. The guest house is really simple and mimics the feeling of Varanasi. We had few plans but thanks to Navi we could manage our trip much better and meet places we would not to, for example, the boat trip at 5am was amazing. Although it was really hot and humid, our bedroom had A/C which really helped to relax when need to. We really enjoyed the terrace while having breakfast and just chatting with each other. In the end, if you are travelling alone or even with friends, and want to meet nice people and see as much as you can, I highly recommend Banaras Guest house. Thanks and happy travels.

We used this as our base whilst staying 5 nights in Varanasi. Krishna and Naveen did so much to share their local knowledge, and organised guided tours for us. They even helped us find working ATM (Krishna took me on his own motorbike) and ordered out for us when we regularly used their rooftop terrace for food and beers of an evening. They are proud of their business, and were in the process of adding more rooms to the guest house, which is right in the mix of local life and within walking distance of the Ganges. Recommend them as good friendly people who will definitely look after you during your stay.

If you are looking for a great place to stay next to Assi Ghat and have easy access to your guesthouse with your bags, Banaras guest house is the perfect choice. It is a minute walk from the road which has full access to cars and rickshaws. 3 minutes walk from Assi Ghat , so you can wake up and quickly get before sunrise to watch the arti and then hop on a boat and see the Ganges wakes up. The guesthouse itself is beautiful with paintings on all the walls. It is very clean with comfortable beds and hot water is available from the biggest geyser I've seen in India. Enough to wash your hair and still have hot water to shower! And the bonus of it all is Naveen and Krishna. They are so sweet and kind. They really care for their guests and do everything with so much love. It is felt in the appearance and cleanliness of the guesthouse and in their hospitality. They can take care of taxis, boat or walking tours, laundry and make you a great breakfast. Note that there is noise from the road as in Varanasi they love to honk more than anywhere else in India. But Varanasi is so chaotic, so even if you stay in places further away from the main roads, there will always be noise. For me, this was the perfect place to stay.

Это семейный гостевой дом. Хозяин - Кришна - милейший человек. За несколько дней написал в Вотсапп, спросил, когда я буду, каким образом я приеду в Варанаси и нужно ли мне такси? Цены прекрасные, платить можно не сразу. Если надо - дадут все координаты интересных мест, помогут с бронью и покупкой. Номера скромные, но чистые, это важнее. Чистые санузел. У меня остались только хорошие впечатления.
