Nos hospedamos en el Blue un par de días y no queríamos irnos. La casa es preciosa, rodeada de un jardín con piscina, una barra y zona para tomar unas bebidas. Hay aparcamiento para el coche. Las habitaciones son nuevas, todas muy limpias y espaciosas. Nos atendió Harry y nos hizo sentir como en casa. El desayuno muy rico y abundante. Todo casero. El plus de este alojamiento son sus dos perritos encantadores. Harry nos dejó jugar con ellos y pasar un poquito de tiempo pero si no lo desea, los perritos tienen su propio espacio y no están con los huéspedes. La zona del alojamiento es muy tranquila, permitiendo relajarse lejos del bullicio pero está a pocos minutos del centro de la ciudad, muy bien comunicado. ¡Volveremos seguro! Muchas gracias por todo

Planeamos quedarnos aquí para desconectarnos un rato y lo logramos. Lugar perfecto para descansar la mente, el cuerpo y el espíritu. Los anfitriones son maravillosas personas conocen la hospitalidad al 100%. Bien estructurado, limpio, nuevo, cómodo, a un precio muy justo, sin complicaciones este lugar está perfecto para descansar BIEN. Ya sea seas turista o un local como nosotros (somos de Mérida) parar y quedarse aquí es una buena opción. Como turista terminas agotado con el calor y la gente. Aquí te refrescas sin tumultos y reposas en un lindo cuarto con buena cama y luego desayunas muy bien para seguir paseando. Como visitante esos sonidos están alrededor, los colores tan hermosos especialmente EL AZUL y estar ahí es rejuvenecedor. Defitivo tenemos que regresar.

I’m a birding guide and I’ve stayed with clients at the Ecolodge twice. The place is very peaceful and quiet. Harry and Ahidel are increíble hosts, very kind and personable. The hotel is clean, has a pool, a nice yard and private parking lot. 100% recommended.

From the moment I arrived at The Blue Eco Lodge, I felt like I was visiting old friends rather than staying at a lodge. The hosts, a delightful couple (Harry and Ahidel) are the heart and soul of this incredible place. Their warmth, friendliness, and genuine passion for hospitality made my stay truly unforgettable. The lodge itself is a gem. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and designed with thoughtful, eco-friendly touches. The peaceful gardens create a serene atmosphere, making it a perfect escape from the everyday hustle. Every morning, Harry personally prepared the most delicious breakfasts for me, each dish bursting with flavor and made with care, always served with a friendly chat and a smile. The location is fantastic for exploring nearby cenotes and other local attractions. The hosts went above and beyond to provide recommendations and ensure I had everything I needed to make the most of my visit. Their insider tips made a huge difference! It’s rare to find a place that offers such a perfect blend of comfort, natural beauty, and heartfelt hospitality. The Blue Eco Lodge is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience that leaves you with lasting memories and a desire to return. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Valladolid!

Valladolid is a MUST, but the true treasure there is a small bed & breakfast called Blue Eco Lodge. It is run by a wonderful couple Harry and his wife Aidel (pronounced "Idele"). They are such kind souls. He is English, she is Oaxacan. Excellent people, personalities and conversationalists!! They run the property with pride; a pristine pool, a nice strolling garden, AND a golden retriever named BRUCE. The property is minutes away from two cenotes, and is a $5-$7 ride into the heart of town. The food they create is incredible and the rooms are clean, the water pressure in the shower is hot and STRONG! They made our trek into the jungle a once-in-a-lifetime event :) This was a last-minute find with a fixed time limit, but now we know they're there, we'll make it a longer stay next time. You will not be disappointed.

This place is very unique. First of all because of the wonderful hosts then because of the beautiful setting and ambience. The close to town location (only 10 - 15 min drive - you need a car or you can take a taxi) and other attractions (of which there are many) makes it an excellent base for exploring the area. I was very impressed by the hospitality of the owners, Ahidel and Harry. The lodge is modern, rooms are comfortable and clean, the garden well kept (you will love the songbirds and other creatures living in it), the breakfast tasty, the pool refreshing... It's no problem if you speak only English because Harry's roots are in England and his knowledge of Mexico is immense. He gave us so many important information, hints, advises and recommendations so we could correct our itinerary - and for that I am very grateful. We even came back to the Blu despite we haven't planned that before. And when we were leaving we felt like we're leaving our true friends. Ahidel and Harry, we thank you for everything once again!

Exceptional stay in a beautiful & tranquil setting! Harry and Ahidel (The owners/hosts) are the best. They make you feel right at home as soon as you arrive plus the accommodations and hotel are great with nice gardens, hammocks and areas to relax outside other than by the pool and bar. They make a fresh breakfast in the morning, which is top notch, and their property is tucked away just outside of town for easy access.

The hosts, Harry and Ahidel are very nice, good communicators and have lots of helpful tips. You can feel that they love what they do and want you to feel at home. We really enjoyed the tasty, fresh and plentiful breakfast. They are fantastic cooks. The room was large and really clean. The bed was super comfortable. We slept like babies. The location is quiet and close to Valladolid. The pool and garden are well maintained. Good to relax after a long day of visits. There is also a bar where you can taste lovely cocktails. It’s a good value for money. We highly recommend it!
