Hotel Walram

Excellent hotel in a perfect location. We visited as part of a Parry’s coach holiday. The hotel exceeded our expectations it was modern, elegant and clean. We stayed half board and the food was lovely, always 2 choices for dinner. I am a vegetarian which was well catered for. Our room was all that we needed, modern, clean and functional. The bathroom had a walk in shower. There is tea and coffee provided. We brought milk from the supermarket located adjacent to the hotel. The bar is beautiful and drinks are well priced. Overall fantastic stay and we will be returning in the future.

Bit dated rooms, small beds, no closet, nightstand size a joke, found it well overpriced. Generally for the tourist who can live out of his suitcase, have to place your toiletries on the window board, space below mirror useless as it’s tilted towards the sink so everything starts sliding, rooms are not too well isolated…

Hotel well located, 5mins walk to town centre. Room was basic but spotless, tv and coffee in room. We were half board as with a coach party and the food was lovely although only 2 main course choices available. Christmas market was on the doorstep. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful x

This was the second time at The Walram…we went Pre flood in 2017 as part of a Parrys coach trip. We had an enormous room then and reasonably good food….this time we had a poor very small BASIC room though it was front facing. We knew the hotel had be given a facelift and the public areas were smart and inviting. The food however was much improved. Lovely breakfast spread and the evening meals were served to us. Drinks were on the pricey side and water was €4.50 a flagon on a 2 for 1 system we never worked out ! The evening entertainment was naff and too loud and some guests were very noisy in corridors upstairs..but it was Christmas. Valkenburg is a lovely little town with a wealth of fine buildings and plenty of smart shops but in December is spoiled by the tacky Christmas Market in front of the Walram.

Stayed here as part of a Leger holiday and couldn’t fault the hotel one bit ..excellent location in the square of valkenburg with plenty of bars and restaurants within 2 mins walk …lovely supermarket across the road if you need anything. . Beds are so comfortable and we had a huge wardrobe for clothes . We stayed on half board basis and food was delicious every day Would 100% come back here

Lovely small hotel right beside one of the Christmas markets. The public areas were very nice and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The buffet breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. The evening meals, part of our half board package, were not overly exciting, but pleasant and well cooked. The only slight negative, despite very comfortable beds, was the room was a bit basic and could’ve done with some TLC and repair of the damp patches.
