This place is amazing in all regards. Top location run by professionals with passion (Mr Vogt and team - well done!) Located in a beautiful small village, literally next to the ski slopes, it got everything you want, need and possibly can imagine for a family with kids. Friendly and attentive staff and manager throughout our stay. The rooms / suite is spacious, super clean and well decorated. Beware of quite dry air during winter times, that‘s usual and you can easily help yourself by venting windows regularly. The Capricorn restaurant is a culinary delight, nice menu and great wine list. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The quality of food and the presentation of the dishes is on a very high level. There are two play rooms for kids including programme and staff. Lots of Lego, obviously, and great to spend time with kids or let kids alone with the kidscare staff. SPA is very nice, small but right sized for the location and in high quality. Be sure to book well in advance. Parking and general amenities such as Ski and Storage room are perfect. All in all, highly worth it and a place we have been coming back in just few months. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a memorable stay.

This was our second, but surely not our last stay in the Valbella Resort. Our family, consisting of a three-year-old toddler, his grandparents and parents enjoyed the Valbella Resort’s second to none infrastructure, culinary delights and other services offered alike. The warm, traditional yet modern and elegant ambience was perceived as conducive for a relaxing holiday or whatever the purpose of the stay. The outstanding customer service is to be highlighted as the most valued asset of the Resort. A genuine attitude towards making you feel comfortable, valued and well looked after was observed. All interactions with all staff members no matter the issue was consistently very friendly, polite and helpful. The daily greeting by the manager and/or Mrs or Mr Vogt rounded off this commendable experience. It serves as a role model and is a true a beacon of hope for the Swiss hospitality industry. There is no doubt in my mind, irrespective of season, purpose or desire of your stay, the Valbella Resort has you covered. At this point, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Valbella Resort team for ensuring our stay was an amazing experience at every level once more. Markus&family

We were here on a big family trip. While the location/scenery of the hotel is beautiful, the hotel falls short on so many things, such as food, wellness, service and guest service. I got food poisoned, the service was more like a 2 star hotel and the wellness area is a simple joke (e.g. they don‘t provide slippers unless you pay for it at t a 4 star wellness resort)! I am certainly not a high maintenance guy, but the food was so bad and at the same time pricey so you would expect a lot more and certainly not that you get food poisoned. And the management is just overwhelmed and handles simple situations just wrong!

Hotel average, Italian staff very friendly, Swiss staff very impolite. Our room was not in the main building so every time we had to put jackets and hats on. Pool ok but no water/tea stations available. SPA far from the main bulging and not so nice (narrow and on different floors), if you walk from the lobby or swimming pool area with your robe to the SPA you will probably catch a cold. Food ok but not so big portions. Kids club with only few activities planned, so more of a supervised play room. Slippers in the room not available, you have to bring your own. Place is great if you ski, otherwise is very average

Valbella Resort: An incredibly beautiful hotel situated in the most stunning mountain location. Ramona and Thomas are wonderful hosts, dedicated to excellence and to setting high standards to ensure everyone's wishes are turned into reality. The entire staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, taking care of every detail from the moment you arrive. They certainly make you feel “at home” in their beautifully designed “home away from home” …well, of course, except that you don’t have to help with the dishes or worry about anything else except for relaxing and spoiling yourself. The ambience of the hotel is stunning: modern, pure and simple, with lots of natural materials. You can tell it is an eco-conscious hotel, so you don’t have to feel bad for feeling so good! We especially enjoyed the spa facilities, and massage treatments from highly qualified therapists. From the amenities, the comforts and details in the room, the breath-taking views of the mountains, the sports and spa facilities, the gorgeous food at breakfast and dinner, there isn't a better place to relax and let your mind, body and soul enjoy a memorable holiday.

I cannot fault this Hotel. The food is fantastic. The cocktails are fantastic. The service is fantastic. The management got everything right here so a big Kudos to the whole team! One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We loved going for a cocktail and then for dinner with our daughter every evening. For a two year old the play area is also a wonderland and the child carers were always super helpful and trustworthy. A super hotel overall.

My wife and I visited the Valbella Resort with our two sons, ages 4 and 2, in February ‘23. The resort had been recommended to us by fellow expats living in London. Our stay was truly excellent. The food was outstanding, as were the kids programming, proximity to kids ski activities, and cleanliness of the resort. I will go so far as to say that the hotel was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Immaculate. Our sons loved checking into the Kids Club in the morning whilst my wife and I skied. We picked them up after lunch for ski lessons, sledging down the hill, playing in the pool, or checking out the other kids club. They loved it. The staff: from Pasquale in Capricorn, to Francesca in Fastatch, to Hannah in the Kids Club were truly exceptional. They learned our preferences pretty quickly and made us feel very comfortable. Thomas, the Host/Manager, was also extraordinary. He greeted us each evening at dinner to check in on our day. We really appreciated that. Thank you, Valbella Resort, for an outstanding family holiday.

The visit to the Valbella Resort allowed me to break away from everyday life in the best possible way and immerse myself in the mountains of Graubünden for a relaxing weekend. The entire team was always very friendly and extremely helpful. The bed was one of the best hotel beds I have slept in!
