If you're looking for a stay that involves many, many children screaming and running through the halls at all hours, this is your dream destination! If you also want to listen to oblivious adults yelling up and down the hallways, maybe at their screaming children and maybe at each other, you are going to be in heaven. I don't want to sound like a curmudgeon who was looking for a silent retreat, as I can understand that children are sometimes noisy. But this was just out of control. It was impossible to relax in the room, sleep was disrupted, and no one seemed to care. And, if you're looking to perhaps distract yourself from all of the screaming and chaos, you might try to use the hotel's "free wifi" to stream something or listen to a podcast. You might try to do that, but the wifi is so bad as to be unusable. It was a nice distraction for a few minutes to watch the internet spinny thing going round and round as the wifi was supposedly connecting, and I was diverted for a few additional minutes as I tried to solve the mystery of the absent internet. But, ultimately, it was a lost cause. And it was back to listening to the screaming and yelling. The worst part is that I really wanted to like this hotel, as the aesthetic is quite nice. The lobby is warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. The room itself was nice as well, but the noise level was unbearable and quite ridiculous. They do make you sign a "code of conduct" form at check-in, but that doesn't seem to make much difference in the shenanigans that the guests get up to. Whatever. Overall, just a profound disappointment. Two recommendations, bring earplugs and plan to take a break from the internet. Do that, and you should be just fine.
