Descripción del alojamiento
A countryside retreat. This cabin is on top of a hill offering glorious views of the Capertee Valley. The valley is world renown for its bird-watching but this property is also a working farm so you can visit our cows, sheep, chickens or pick some fruit from the trees. We have 420 acres for you to explore with creeks, mountain bike trails and direct access to the Wollemi National Park. Our wildlife spotting includes wombats, kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas to name a few. The cabin has its own deck and is right beside a large fire pit with an amazing view across the valley. This location is the pick of the views on the entire property. Each window in the cabin offers stunning mountain views. We are in a secluded location if you are looking for a peaceful stay. The drive through the Capertee Valley to our property is spectacular. The only sounds you will hear are chickens, sheep, cows and the bird life. If you enjoy hiking then explore our 420 acres which is a mix of grazing land, creeks, bush tracks, swimming holes and rainforest like gullies. Our property borders Wollemi National Park and we have direct access to it. The Glen Alice Trail & The Bicentennial Trail are hiking tracks that cross through our property. 'Cabins at The Nile' is our Facebook page if you wish to see further photos of our property. If you enjoy swimming we have several sandy creeks, a pristine swimming hole and a heated swim spa that can accomodate large groups. Feel free to pick the fruit that is in season from our trees. We have fig trees, lemons, persimmon, plums, pears and mulberries to name a few. The fire pit right beside the cabin is very popular with our guests. There is a grill plate atop so you can cook dinner over the fire or enjoy watching the sunset colours on the cliffs. We offer firewood for your stay at a small cost or feel free to bring your own. When the sun goes down the star gazing is spectacular. We have an additional brand new cabin ready to rent. It is on another part of our property which is more secluded. Please message me if you are interested in staying in this other cabin. Own a 4wd? You are welcome to drive around our property and take in all the tracks & views that have been created in the landscape. Take a drive to the 'Paddock Cafe' which is about 20 minutes drive from our property to grab your breaky or lunch feed. They use local produce and sell a large variety of locally made products. Have a larger group? We can accomodate camping and caravans. If you wish to book the cabin and then have camp sites nearby also we have done that before for larger groups. We book our camp sites through Hipcamp. If this cabin isn't available for your required dates then please message us as we have an additional brand new cabin on our property we can also offer you. This property was wonderful to stay on, it was in a lovely part of the country and the views were stunning. Our hosts, Mandy and Jake, were so lovely and welcoming, and Rabbit was so adorable! We could not recommend this experience more, we could not have picked a better Tiny Home to stay in for our first experience in one.

So peaceful The Capertee Valley is stunning, secluded, peaceful and full of wildlife. If you want to rest and enjoy great views while listening to the amazing bird life tis the place for you. If you like bushwalking the endless tracks, some leading into the national park will keep you busy and happy. The hosts Mandy and Jacob are lovely people, well organised and easy to deal with. They have two beautiful young boys and Ryder will tell you everything about their farm or give you space whichever you prefer. The only reason not come is if you want nightlife apart from wombats and Roos . Loved every minute
