Ifuru Island Resort Maldives - 24-Hours Premium All-Inclusive

This is a true review that comes straight from my heart and is not 1% sponsored. Ifuru Resort is a 5-star luxury resort rated 100 out of 100 that I highly recommend. The facilities, underwater environment, restaurant, bar, friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, and beauty of the island were all excellent. There are no water villas, but the beach villa is very close to the beach. As soon as you enter the water, you can see colorful corals and giant clams, and the house reef is close and great. We snorkeled every day and had long free swims with turtles, eagle rays, and black tip sharks. It's like this even if you just go out in front of the beach villa instead of taking a paid excursion. First of all, Ifuru Resort, newly opened in 2023! Located in Raa Atoll, Maldives, we traveled by seaplane + speedboat. Since it's a new resort, there aren't many reviews, so I was worried and decided to refer to the resort's official Instagram and YouTube introductions. Among Koreans, we seemed to be the first to visit. When I actually went there, it was a 5-star resort so great that I could give it 100 out of 100! Stylish and luxurious room conditions and facilities (even the hair dryer is Dyson), truly warm and friendly staff (I still really miss Ari, Rocky, angel, Juli, Nikki, Quineee, kuva, Rudy isuru, muni, RN Adhla) , Mode, a very kind female employee at the waterfront restaurant who always had her hair neatly braided (I suddenly can't remember her name), and Rochelle, a very kind and warm general manager, who remembered and looked after each and every resort customer, and cared for and loved the employees. We were impressed by the appearance, and the resort staff were very courteous and friendly, as if they were guests invited to their own home, and they did their best to take care of us. That's why we really want to go to Ifuru Resort again. I still look at videos and photos taken at Ifuru every day.

We stayed in Ifuru for 9 nights at end of September. We have stayed in several Maldives islands over the last 10 years. We flew BC with Etihad and it was fabulous. We arrived to Male before 5am and waited for an about 2.5hours for a seaplane. We had a domestic flight in our package and upgraded directly with the resort prior to travelling. Although I got the feeling when we were there that we would have been upgraded to seaplane anyway but I wasn’t taking any chances. Our seaplane stopped at Rayaa by Atmosphere and took a bumpy speedboat ride from there. We were greeted warmly by resort staff with drums and red necklaces and taken to reception to check in. We were very kindly upgraded to beach villa from a beach suite and couldn’t have got a better room. Stunning villa, very spacious and the most wonderful views directly out to the Indian Ocean. We loved the outdoor shower and bathroom. My only slight complaint on the room was there was very little storage for clothes in the room. Nice extra touches like champagne in the room and great minibar and Dyson hairdryer! The beach was beautiful. We booked restaurants through the app and on our first day we were met by Yadde and he knew who we were and said he’d been chatting to us on the app. This is just an example of the attention you get from the wonderful staff here. We enjoyed the all a carte restaurants the waiters make the restaurant experiences and we were always delighted when we had the fortune to be served by Delia and Midune. The main Social House restaurant is the buffet it had a very European feel with European dishes on offer. I missed the typical Maldivian/Indian curries daals and biryanis I’ve enjoyed in other resorts. But I must admit there was great choices and always good quality. In this restaurant daily we me Adam they manager who is such a gentleman and real asset to the resort. We enjoyed watching junior waiter Danny get more confidence in his job while we were there, he was so pleasant. They could improve slightly on the wine service and keep bottles close to tables for top ups, as sometimes we waited long periods for more wine. It was off season when we were there and unfortunately we had rough seas and heavy rain. It meant we couldn’t do any of the water sports or trips. We did snorkel off the beach at the dive centre and secret point and we were very disappointed but for beginners this would be good. However the weather encouraged us to take part in activities and enjoy the spa. We had massages and although slightly pricey in my opinion it was very good and we enjoyed the facilities. We also did the sound therapy and yoga. Make sure to book in for these. We used the gym most days. It was small but had all we needed and Jigme (instructor, I hope his name is correct) was so pleasant and he gives the best stretches. We also did the morning beach run with him and thoroughly enjoyed it. We used both bars and found them to be enjoyable. There was very little entertainment at nigh

Seamless journey and transfer by domestic flight to this wonderful resort. Immediately transported to the Friendship Centre where we met our buddy Ifaa who looked after us throughout our stay. Our sunset beach villa was perfect, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Ok, the mini bar could have been better and we had to request it to be topped up, but on request, this was done immediately. The 2 a la carte restaurants were great, however the Social House buffet was not for us, mediocre food and slow service. Thankfully, when we raised concern with Ifaa, we were reallocated an a la carte restaurant every night. Good quality wine served in the restaurants, frequently topped up without asking. Special mention in the restaurants to Midula in the Palm Grill, Rocky at the Waterfront and Adam at the Social House. The biggest shout outs go to Kuva at the pool who kept us regularly topped up with his ‘special cocktails’ and water to cool us down. No orders needed, turn around and he was there smiling with your drink. He needs cloning! Also, special mention to Kasun our housekeeper who cleaned our villa meticulously each day, a different towel animal to greet us, but his sand art on the doorstep each evening was out of this world, such a talent! Beautiful beach, clear water, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling, dolphins, baby sharks, fruit bats and gekkos, all in all an amazing experience, made even better by the amazing staff. The holiday was completed by the speed boat and sea plane transfer back to Male airport. Perfect!
