Teremok Hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms each have their own theme and character, the en suites are stunning and the lounge/dining areas inviting. We loved our girls weekend away, and enjoyed swimming in the pool and having relaxing spa treatments. We wish we could go monthly!

Had a great stay at Teremok Lodge & Spa for 2 nights. I was in the Palm Suite. The suit is large and beautifully decorated. I spend many hour on the patio overlooking the pool area and lush gardens. The breakfast was excellent and the team at Teremok Lodge was welcoming and so very helpful. Thank you for a great stay and we will definitely be back !

Our 3rd visit and as always a first class service, we love this hotel, it is almost magical, a few minutes away from all the hustle and bustle but you would think you are in the country. Excellent as always. Look forward to returning soon, hopefully not too long.

The rooms are beautiful here and the staff amazing. We ended up having to stay an extra night here as we couldn’t get to Drakensburg Mountains due to freak weather and snow. Kim was brilliant helping us with looking at options for our next stop and speaking to our travel agent to recommend alternatives for onward travel. She also kept us informed about the road conditions. I had a lovely treatment in their spa facilities as the weather was poor during our stay. Would thoroughly recommend Teremok Lodge.

Such am amazing stay ! Beautiful and quiet and fits the name "little hide out" perfectly ! all the staff were amazing and friendly, the chef made the best omelettes and Kim was absolutely amazing !! Definitely a favourite in Umhlanga. It is so peaceful and wonderfully close to the beach !

What a hidden gem, the lodge is well kept and the service was out of this world not forgetting that it is a walking distance to the beach from the lodge. I could hear the weaves at night. Less than 5 minutes to Umhlanga centre but gives a bush feel near the ocean. The area is safe and the lodge offers shuttle services. I would come back for more nights.

This is my 3rd time staying at the Teremok. I can hardly wait for my 4th time. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The property is beautiful. The location is ideal as it is within walking distance of the boardwalk and plenty of restaurants. The airport is about 15 minutes away and the Teremok team will line up transport if needed. The breakfast is delightful and there are tons of little "extra's" that the Teremok team has done for me/will do for you. Which really brings me to WHY I will be back. The staff is absolutely amazing. From laundry service, to room service, to food service to just overall SERVICE - they have it down. They not only know how to serve, it seems they find joy in serving. The entire staff are amazing. A joy to be around and it feels like coming back to old friends when I return. Don't keep looking for a place. Just book it. You won't regret it.

This property is gorgeous, everything exceeded our expectations. The Milkwood Room was massive and the decoration of this room is so tasteful, I especially loved the succulent plant wall on the balcony, the view over the ocean also puts a smile on one's face. The staff are so kind and friendly, and the breakfasts are perfect. I love the fact that the chef cooks right in front of you, and the selections are more than enough. The Spa staff are also gems they took such wonderful care of my pregnant wife, she came back so rejuvenated Thank you for an amazing stay Ninette and team.

This place gets everything right. From the beautiful design, to the amazing staff, to the wonderful beautifully turned out and presented rooms. Tiny little touches really make it and lift this place onto another level. Generous shuttles down to town whenever you need to go. Amazing coffee available all day. The neighbourhood is great too with super restaurants - we were here during dreadful weather and thought all the above. And you are regularly visited by monkeys who have also cottoned on to fact this place is a must visit location! In fact I can not think of one flaw - other than it’s made me want to come back to South Africa way too soon after leaving ! Highly recommended on every level
