My experience at this hotel was very disappointing, and I would not recommend staying here. The staff were notably unfriendly, which impacted the overall stay. After arriving at 2 a.m. due to train delays, I noticed the next day that the window in my room was broken and wouldn’t close properly, allowing cold air and noise to enter. I reported this to the front desk, but the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. She mentioned that I should have reported the issue upon arrival, despite the late hour, and said there was nothing she could do as the maintenance team was on vacation. I requested that an external service be called, but that was also denied. When I asked for a different room since I was staying for 12 nights, I was told that wasn’t possible because I had already slept in the bed. There was no attempt to address the issue or offer any alternative solutions. Fortunately, another guest overheard the conversation and, as a carpenter, was able to assist in fixing the window himself. However, it was clear that the hotel staff had no intention of resolving the issue or providing any meaningful assistance. Overall, the lack of hospitality and basic customer service made this a very poor experience. I would not stay here again.
