Amazing staff, beautiful grounds. The folks that work there are friendly and helpful. Mary (Maria) was of particular assistance to us, as she spoke fluent English. She explained all of the amenities in great detail, of which there were many. There is a lovely spa in a grotto, not included, but there were specials on offer. The mandatory club card was well worth it, as it included the cost of the beach shuttle, as well as sunbeds at the beach club, which was a nice one. Lovely beach, comfortable sunbeds, and a good restaurant. The rooms were nice enough; charming, not luxurious, and the bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade, but there was a lovely and spacious terrace off the room. The grounds are beautiful and well-cared for, and there is a great bar area and several other seating areas on the grounds. A bit of advice; because it was a bit rainy when we were there, and there is so much foliage, there were a lot of mosquitoes. Bring bug spray! There was also a buffet breakfast that could be purchased for 7 euros a day, 5 euros if you get it for the whole week. Well worth it; there was a lovely lady that made bacon and eggs, crepes, etc, as ordered. Also the usual fresh pastries, cheeses, local meats, fruit, yogurt. I would definitely return, and recommend it to anyone!

We are an older couple: 70 and 77, so we aren’t as adventurous as the younger set. We did a week of timeshare trade to southern Italy with Interval International. We rented a car, and while driving here I realized it’s not in Lecce but an hour past it! I guess I didn’t look too carefully at the location since we’d never been here before (from the U.S.). It’s much more remote than I expected. They gave us a room without too many steps, which was very accommodating. The people working here are wonderful, although very few speak English. We mostly used our hands and a few words. We are still getting the hang of Google translate. The beach resort associated with this resort is really nice! We spent a lot of time there. They have healthier food, with salads and fruit, which we didn’t get at the resort dinners. (We skipped the continental breakfast at the resort and went to the beach for lunch.) The only fruit for sale we could find anywhere nearby was at the beach restaurant! The locals at the markets said you buy fruit only on Saturdays! Since I eat fruit for breakfast, hearing this was a shock. In retrospect, I’d only stay here for 4 days and spend time north of here near Alberobello, etc. it’s an hour to Lecce and Otranto from here so we won’t get to see the Puglia north of here before we leave for Naples tomorrow on the train in Lecce.

This is the cutest hotel in the middle of farms in rural southern Italy. The distance to the beach is perfect, only a mile or two down the road. The rooms are small but quaint. The only suggestion I do have is to have additional seating arranged in the room for colder spring nights. The room was unique with the old walls peering through the new stucco. They clean them twice a week and are happy to provide additional towels and blankets upon request. The grounds are well kept, with a pool and plenty of seating around the gardens. If you exercise every day like we’re accustomed to doing, there isn’t a lot of walking space unless you’re willing to risk your like on narrow Italian rural roads, which I definitely would not recommend. The staff is so very pleasant though only one speaks English. They all attempt to understand as best as possible and will do whatever in their power to be sure their guests are happy and comfortable. Ask for Mery if you need assistance with English/Italian translation. She was always ready willing and able. We did not eat dinner in the dining area, mainly because I’m vegetarian and their dishes did not accommodate my eating habits, though breakfast was always fresh and plenty, with Lisa and SiMona were always ready to assist, Clem up and Bri g cappuccino’s with a simple nod. Love the staff! I also have to mention Pierluigi who brought in our luggage and checked to be sure we had everything we needed. They do have a clean pool, and although it was clean and looked inviting, it was a bit too cold to swim.

We used our timeshare to spend 4 nights here during our 10 day road trip through Puglia. Beautiful location, quiet grounds. We were given room 131, center of the courtyard and not far from the bar, which was convenient. Rooms were clean and basic but comfortable. We had dinner one night at the restaurant - a lot of food (4 course) for €35 pp. The food was very good and service was great. Continual breakfast is also available, with lots of choices (€7), We did not make it to the resort beach but all the beaches in the area were really clean with soft sand and calm waters. It was end of season so we went to Lido Bora Bora which still had an open restaurant. Staff was very accommodating and no issues with our poor English to Italian. Overall a lovely stay and a nice break not to have to pack and move every day. You’ll need a car to explore, but we found it a great location to go to Gallipoli, Otranto, and Lecce.

A taste of traditional old style values and standards. Something that I have missed. My wife and I had 1 week here and we’re treated like family. The hotel is a converted farm and retains its rustic charm whilst being clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. The food is like being at an Italian wedding every night with several well portioned delicious courses. All the food overseen by head chef Johnny. The hotel setting is sublime. A beautiful pool and gardens. Outdoor bar. There is a private beach that you have access to about a mile away with a lovely bar attached and clean toilets and shower. Just a prefect getaway. You can visit lots of beautiful towns within a short drive. You definitely need ti hire a care. Highly recommend and would stay again.

A truely beautiful place set in stunning grounds. So calm and relaxing and a real escape. It’s beautifully styled in a rustic relaxed manner and so picturesque. The pool is the prettiest I have ever seen and the beach offers beautiful sand, comfy chairs and a great beach bar. The attention to detail is amazing and everything is so beautiful. The evening menu is amazing value and offers plenty of variety. The portions are generous so you will not go hungry and the food tastes fantastic. All the staff are friendly and attentive and if you really want to spoil yourself I recommend the spa. It’s a small hotel with a big heart and gives you the feeling that everyone here really does care. The only downside was that we only booked one week!

We have been in the hotel Antica Masseria Rottacapozza last week of July 2022 and we really enjoyed this place. Reception, hotel and lido staff (all young motivated people) were very friendly and professional. The lido near the hotel is really calm, relaxing, clean and well organized. The sandy beach is clean and the sea is super clear, clean, beautiful and granted blue flag. The food in general is typical, good and varied. Some evenings the Chef is cooking main courses in front of the guests. The swimming pool is large and nice. In evenings there are some animations. In addition, we chose the luxury suite which is independant but close to the hotel and swimming pool. This little suite is typical of the region and well decorated. A lovely terrace is surrounded by exotic plants and trees. We felt like in a cocoon. This comfortable accommodation added to the exotic place was amplified by a friendly and family atmosphere. We highly recommend this hotel / Masseria which is close to all famous places of Puglia. Marco, Emma and Caroline of France.

Allego foto. Venite venite venite.
