no es una buena estancia. Enfrenté muchos problemas durante mi estadía aquí. No hay opción de comida y muy mal desayuno. el aire acondicionado es malo. mala conexión wifi. no es un buen hotel. Pero el lugar es bueno. bonitas callejuelas estrechas, tiendas, buenos paños y artesanía. el hotel está cerca del palacio.

Haveli con mucho encanto….. pero habitaciones sucias no, lo siguiente. Tres días alojados y ni un solo día baño limpiado. Desayuno no pensado para europeos. Más soldados rasos en el restaurante que clientes…. pero cojoses que no toman iniciativas. Cada cena dos horas. Un camarero bajito y con bigote lo único que merecía la pena porque los maitres para amarrarles una piedra a la cintura y echarlos al lago. Pasamos tres noches en este hotel y lo recuerdo como una buena experiencia. La habitación daba al lago y tenía unas vistas preciosas, sobre todo de noche. Estaba limpia, pero había objetos (luces junto a las camas) con mucho polvo. La mesa del lavabo del baño estaba rota y la señal de internet no llegaba a las habitaciones, algo que me parece muy mal hoy en día en una ciudad como Udaipur, de una dejadez inadmisible. Lo mejor, como ya he dicho, la ubicación y su restaurante con unas vistas maravillosas.

Great hotel on the lake side. We had a lake view room which was was clean and had a great view of the city palace. The outdoor restaurant had great views of the lake and was Definitely a bit with us and also the locals in the city. We would return to this hotel if the opportunity arises.

Based on its location, close to the old city, its sights, shops, restaurants, amazing views from our rooms across the lakes this hotel deserves a 5stat plus rating. However and sadly it loses this because of the quality and service provided by tje restaurant On arrival we were informed that on busy days it operates two sittings a night.7 and 9 pm. The end result is that the restaurant is full at 7pm. Diners then have to wait for a long time even to get a menu, then drinks, then placing their food order ,finally waiting for the food. Food that was not worth waiting for.. We saw other diners just give up and leave the restaurant. This was our sixth time in India, we have eaten in every type of restaurant, street stalls etc. The dishes served where without doubt the worst we have ever had, overcooked and tasteless.. The attitude of the servers also needs attention . Not that of the younger staff members but that of the older so called senior staff. Whose priority seems to be not service but to remind diners that " service charge " is not included when presenting the bill. The hotel is undergoing some building work that did not inconvenience us Chose the Amet for its location but not its restaurant.

The hotel is situated by the side of Lake Pichola with views from the restaurant across the lake to the city palace. The rooms are comfortable and we were lucky to have a room overlooking the lake. There are pretty gardens and a small swimming pool. The food and cocktails in the restaurant are good.

My wife and I spent three nights here en route from Jaipur to Cochin. After a long journey to arrive at this oasis on shores of lake Pichola was like a dream. We had a very comfortable room with a lake side view and every evening dined in their restaurant with equally fantastic views particularly in the evening. The bustling old town is easily accessible in a 10 to 15 minute walk via a bridge. You then realise that the hotel and other shops and buildings are in fact on an island! The service at the hotel was excellent!

Amet haveli is a heritage lake view hotel built between 1734-1752 A.D. It has the old world charm about it ***** with modern amenities. It offers one of the best views of Lake Pichola in Udaipur, with the city palace on one side and the Lake Palace on the other. The location is also very convenient as you need to just crossover a footbridge to reach the old city & its attractions which is about 10 minutes away. We had booked a lake facing super deluxe room since that was the only room available on our travel dates, but we were not disappointed since it was a beautiful, spacious corner room with lake view on all sides. They have limited rooms so I suggest to plan in advance. The dining experience at their Ambrai restaurant is also top notch with excellent cuisine and service. However, it’s quite busy and very popular among locals too so would advise to reserve in advance. We would also like to mention Sneha & Bharat who made our stay extra special.

Lovely hotel, good location, town was easy to access on foot. We had a lovely big room over looking the lake. staff were lovely , food was good, Service was excellent however one member of restaurant staff pushed for a tip when there is a central tipping box
