Casa Del Desierto is a private oasis minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. This was one of the most booked vacation homes in 2023 and has recently relaunched with an upgraded outdoor experience.
Our 3-bed, 2-bath retreat blends boho elegance with modern comfort, featuring a spacious open layout with high ceilings, natural textures, and unique design. The exterior features a luxury hot tub, fire pits, palm trees, mountain views, superb stargazing, and no traffic noise—just unforgettable vibes.

Desert Sanctuary
We had an amazing stay at Casa del Desierto. From the moment we arrived, the home felt like a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the desert. The outdoor setup was just like the pictures, we loved getting to use the fire pit, hot tub, and hammocks. Well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds in each room, and great communication from Daniel and Chelsea. We can’t wait to come back!

Restful Weekend Getaway
The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and well appointed. We had a wonderful time relaxing, hot tubbing, stargazing, and hiking in Joshua Tree. We would return in a heartbeat!

Oasis in the Desert
Chelsea and Daniel’s home was such a pleasure to relax in! So comfortable, clean, and the decor was boho sheik at its finest! The jacuzzi was amazing and it had a beautiful wrap around backyard with a gas fire pit, hammocks, and a pyramid daybed (perfect for stargazing!). We can’t wait to come back soon and stay for a few nights! We highly recommend this place!

Casa Del Desierto review
Stayed 4 nights. Convenient location to the 29 Palms entrance to JTNP. Short drive to town. House is sited near a residential street intersection. Traffic noise quiets down after dark. Nice landscaping, a great outdoor shower and spa, and covered patio. Saw a road runner, rabbits, hummingbirds and finches in the yard. Entry by keypad was easy. Didn't like the Ring surviellance camera at the entry. We covered it up during our stay. Felt creepy to have it pointed at the area where we spent most of our time outdoors. Inside there's air conditioning in each room. The primary bedroom's bed is comfortable. The Wifi was good. Didn't use the TV as we don't subscribe to any streaming services. There's no cable or satellite TV. The place was clean--smelled like Pine Sol when we entered. Perhaps another cleaning product could be considered. Kitchen was adequately equipped for cooking. The open concept interior design was OK. We discovered that the bathroom off the entry hallway is directly in line with the kitchen area. It had a non-functioning fan and a window that doesn't open. If you do your business in there, the odor drifts into the kitchen. UGH.The primary bathroom looks nice, but has no fan or windows that open.No door between that bathroom and the primary bedroom, so the same odor situation there. We spent most of our time in the park and outside at the house. For the most part, it was a pleasant stay at the house.
