Villa Mella is ideal for families, groups of friends, and outdoor enthusiasts seeking an active experience. In winter, you can access ski trails directly from the cabin’s doorstep. Located 250 km north of Rovaniemi, near Raattama in Yli-Kyrö, in the scenic surroundings of the Pallas fells. The nearby Lake Hommajärvi is approx. 70 meters away (230 m long, 170 m wide) and features a shared pier and a lean-to shelter. Additionally, Lake Vuontisjärvi is located 250 meters away, offering a boat dock and swimming opportunities with a long, shallow, firm lake bottom. The cabin features a living room/kitchen and three bedrooms, each furnished with two 80 cm wide beds (which can be combined into double beds). There is also a wood-heated sauna, a washroom, a WC, and a utility room that doubles as a dressing room. A ski maintenance room is available for winter sports enthusiasts, equipped with a waxing bench, workspace, and shelves. Firewood for normal use is included in the rental price; additional firewood can be ordered from the owner for an extra fee. Snowmobile trail network within 150 m distance. 11 km to the southwest from Enontekiö municipality centre (Hetta), lake Mikonjärvi 180 m (length 260 m, width 130 m), larger lake Muotkajärvi at the nearest distance of 500 m. The cabin does not have a boat. Barbeque hut on the yard. Kelo log-built cabin, facilities on three floors, built in 2022. The middle floor is the entrance floor and has living room / kitchen. The room height in the middle floor is lower than normal, 190 cm. Access to balcony and open terrace from the middle floor. On the upper floor, there are two beds and an additional bedroom with 2 beds. The upper floor has a sloping ceiling. The length of the another bed located in the bedroom can be adjusted. In the picture, the length is 170 cm. The bed can also be placed in some another location on the upper floor, then the bed can be extended to normal length. WC also on the upper floor. Access to the uppermost balcony from the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is sauna, washroom/WC and fireplace room (sofa bed as an alternative bed; the maximum number of people is 4). Aurora is close to the lake Muotkajärvi, which offers great opportunities for fishing, swimming, sledding and ice fishing (in winter). Ice fishing is also possible on the lake Mikonjärvi.
