Let's start at the top. Check in was easy and quick. Standard paperwork. Get your keys and you're on your way. Cool. The lady at the desk was nice. I booked two separate rooms. First room, ripped sheets, dirty phone, a layer of dust on the mirror, remote missing the batter cover, mini fridge dusty, and the bathroom shower curtain caked in MOLD!! Immediately NO! So I go downstairs and show the lady the video I took of my mold covered bathroom curtain and she immediately switched me to another room and let me check the room . Ok no layer of mold on the curtain. So I'm like fine. Honestly it wasn't much better but after being on the road for 9hrs I was too exhausted to be playing find the not so crappy room. This room wasn't as dusty so "yay" (insert eye roll), the sheets still ripped up, there was still mold in the shower grout, oh and other people's hair in the shower on the wall, cause that's always fun. (Insert sarcasm). The towels looked like they've seen better years. Oh and the phone was still dirty in this room. Oh and the best part the phone didn't even work. The sink took ten minutes to drain the water. The carpet didn't look like it had been thoroughly cleaned in a decade. The lights on the hallways flickering like a horror movie. Some lights are out completely. There is a weird odor of smoke and mildew in the hallways. The pool is out of service and they don't seem to care. There's wild cats in the bushes outside. Oh and the "breakfast" leaves lots to be desired. Now the second room I booked. Much the same. Dusty, mold in the shower grout, sheets ripping, towels less than desirable, oh and a cracked sink bowl, and leaky shower. Oh and there was a hole in the bathroom wall that was stuffed with plastic. And cobb webs behind the bathroom door. Because fun right (insert eye roll and sarcasm). I would highly advise against staying here. There's a days inn next door try them. Cause this place needs to be condemned until they can make repairs because it's not even worth the cost of admission.

One star is generous. I was supposed to stay 3 nights and checked out after 1. Cleanliness - hallways and room reeked of smoke (even though it was a non-smoking room), mold and rust in bathroom Maintenance - Numerous burn holes/melted spots in the bedspread, sheets, and carpet, property hasn't been mowed and weeds are plentiful Safety - side door that leads to the elevator has no lock which means anyone can come and go straight to rooms without passing the front desk

Upon arriving the portico was trashy and dirty. Definitely needs a good cleaning. The front door mat was also dirty. No regular cleaning schedule. Inside the lobby seemed to be clean, but had a bad smell. My room was reasonably clean, but there was a lingering Smokey smell in a nonsmoking room. There was no linens in the bathroom. Had to call front lobby to get linens. The most egregious problem was the secondary entrances. They were clearly marked “keep locked at all times,”. They were not locked. Went to lobby and discussed with attendant. She indicated locks were broken and would not be repaired. Asked for a refund and was denied as I had not requested the cancellation 48 hours prior to check in. Certainly illogical. This is a Best Western Motel to avoid.
