Twin Dolphins Holiday Park

Lovely park. The gardens are immaculate. The setting is so relaxing. We were in a cabin it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The cabins are a bit dated but they are neat and tidy. The park was quiet at night. It’s a short drive to town. Staff are friendly.

A very good park, we parked on grassed area. It was like being in a rainforest with very large trees. Well maintained. Large sites. Plenty of bird life. Amenities cleaned regularly. Pool is really good. It is away from beach but not to far to walk too.

Stayed here for 10 nights recently (December ,2022) in our caravan, we selected one of the Premium sites. We were shown to the area by the owner Andrew who was very friendly. These sites are large - enough room for any van, motorhome with annexe car and boat etc. space if required. This park is not as fancy as many of the other BIG chains but it is quiet, has large natural grassed areas, clean amenities and a large pool and a playground area and jumping pillow. It is not on the beach front and is tucked away a little in Tuncurry, so either a two minute drive or ten minute walk to the Main Street area. The sites are defined by fallen tree logs and the road way is somewhat uneven. So not the bitumen and gutters and open spaces of those aforementioned parks - but, it doesn't have the ridiculous price tags either! It is not a flash park by any means, but it has everything you will need plus peace and quiet. You need a code to enter and exit and it is customised for each guest party. So, as we found out, if someone in the office is kind enough to open the boom gate when you exit the park, when you return at 10.30pm you can't get in as the "gate" thinks you are still in the park! So you have to use the internal input to open the boom, then use the external input to inform the "gate" you are in. Sounds complicated? It's not really. The park could use some better lighting around the toilet/shower amenities, as the external light switches are inside and people turn the lights off, so you will need a torch. No biggie, I thought. Would happily stay again.
