I normally write positive reviews unless something needs to be shared to improve the situation. If I get treated like the past three days at this place, I feel obligated to spread the word. First: There are way better options than Quality Inn on Jackson, so to begin with go for them. If you want to try this place stay away from room 100! I was supposed to stay here in a quiet, smoke free room from Sunday through Friday, but having had less that 10 hours sleep the past two days due to noise from trucks parked outside starting up at 5am and room with so little insulation that the engine noise wakes you up does not qualify as a quiet room. In addition the room was supposed to be smoke free, it smelled heavily of cigaret smoke when entering. I immediately returned to the front desk where the receptionist didn't find another room but instead sprayed the room with some perfumed spray making the smell better for a bit, but the smell was so intense that it returned shortly after throughout the night. The receptionist promised I would talk to a manager next day as well as my room would be thoroughly cleaned next day. My workday was so busy I did not have time to show up during normal working hours, so expecting the cleaning I was fine with that. Breakfast consisted in four taps for juice with water in three and very thinned orange juice in the last, cold sausages and cold scrambled eggs. Coffee, bread and jam as alternative. Bonne appetite... Returning in the evening, nothing had happened in my room and I was so tired due to last night's lack of proper sleep, so I just went straight to bed. Next I woke up at 1:22am due to upstairs neighbors drinking and talking - very easy to follow the conversation though I wasn't interested - both pillows around my ears to sleep.. Next waking up to the trucks starting up again around 5am I had it. This was my last night here. Time to shave and found the sink was clogged!!! Same day I checked in with another hotel. After long workday at night - willing to pay up-front for this one night not staying there I was asking for a receipt for checkout. This is where it started getting messy. Receptionist could not write me a receipt as the system would not let her do that as I was booked through Friday. So I could not get a proof of checkout even though I returned the key... She called the manager who just told the same story. I asked if either of them could at least send me an email as confirmation that I checked out. They were not willing to do that. I asked if they felt it was unreasonable to pay for Sun-Mon-Tue and release the room for other people to use the rest of the week (there's a music festival going on - most rooms are booked I learned from colleagues). I asked the manager directly: So the only way out of here is to pay for the whole stay, and she confirmed. This is about the worst experience I've had with a hotel, and I want to share this experience with you all. They are greedy, lazy and unaccommodating. This
