Pongo 1 porque la decepción es increible. Llevamos 5 hoteles fabulosos en la Selva negra, y este, fue el desastre. El hotel que ves en las fotos con flores en sus terrazas, NO ES EL QUE TE DAN. Nos han metido en uno que tienen anexo, el cual yo no hice reserva. Como un hostal... Sin ascensor. Yo no he reservado esto. Ir Con cuidado, Las fotos es la vista real desde la habitacion. Os la cuelan. Dejarlo por escrito en vuestra reserva ( con fotos si hace falta..). La respuesta de la Sra. de la recepción ( es amable, pero no me ha convencido) es que esta lleno...hice la reserva el 12 de junio. Me siento engañada. Se ha de especificar y avisar al cliente, que NO dormiras en el de las fotos. Su respuesta, movimiento de hombros, rollo..."mala suerte" Un calor horrible, agosto, 2022 Pedir un ventilador si vais en estas fechas. Con cara de fastidio, pero al final te lo proporcionan. Señora del hotel: ya deberia estar en la habitación, antes de llegar el cliente. Limpiarlo, hubiera sido un detalle, super sucio! Las toallas por el suelo...higienico, poco. Desayuno justo, y limpieza pasable. 3 estrellas? No, 2 justitas, donde nos metio. Recordar, especificar el tema del anexo. Dejarlo claro, por escrito No os dejáis llevar por las fotos. Engaño. Como observación, subida empinada hasta el hotel, y Tubinga, prescindible

Pongo 2, porque hemos llegado hace un rato y la decepción es increible. El hotel que ves en las fotos con flores en sus terrazas, NO ES El QUE TE DAN. Uno que tienen anexo, claustrofóbico y sin ascensor. Yo no he reservado esto, por favor, especificarlo en vuestra reserva. La respuesta de la Sra. De la recepción es que esta lleno...hice la reserva 4l 12 de junio. Me siento engañada. Se ha de especificar y avisar al cliente. Tengo miedo de dormir esta noche allí. Estoy hasta mareada del calor. Ojo con la limpieza de la habitacion, al menos anexo.! Y cuestas mata personas. Sigo sin entender...porque todas las toallas estan por el suelo? Es un 3 estrellas, que deberían bajar a 2. Recordar, especificar el tema del anexo. No os dejáis llevar por las fotos. Engaño.

Very convenient location above the P12 parking garage. Everything was perfectly good enough. Booked a junior suite/family room. Was nice and spacious. Had a view of the Heidelberg castle. Breakfast selections were good. No complaints.

Beautiful room, big comfortable bed and very good breakfast with options for everyone in our family, including a picky eating toddler and myself (vegan). We also tried the hotel restaurant for dinner and have nothing but praise to give. The service was amazing and the food was really wonderful. We loved visiting the town and will definitely come back and choose to stay at the Hotel am Schloss again when we do!

Very expensive, but I couldn't find any availability elsewhere for a single person. No air-conditioning or even a fan. It was about 34 degrees daytime (end of July 2024) and still very hot at night. It was a superior room (nothing superior about it except perhaps the size) and in the annex – another building across the road. No nice view, except onto other buildings. I could see into their kitchens in the evening. Extremely noisy outside from a nearby burger restaurant. Noise continued some nights until 11.30pm. Bathroom tap did not work properly. Sometimes hot water and no cold water available. Fridge was not working when I arrived as socket was faulty. After plugging it in elsewhere, it never got cold. Location is, although central, up a steep road and not as near to the railway station as I would have preferred. No bacon or tasty hot breakfast except for always meatballs or falafels. Weird. You had to stipulate your time of arrival for breakfast! Restaurant was okay, but nothing special. Male German receptionist could not crack a smile, but the Polish breakfast lady was very nice. Hotel totally overhyped.

The hotel is situated right next door to the entrance to the castle, and is a brief walk downhill to the old town, an ideal location for walking all over Tubingen. We had a room in the annex building. Very comfortable, though if you like to sleep in cooler temperatures, the room runs warm and there was no way to control the temperature in our room. Breakfast is included, and there is a generous buffet with a wide variety of options. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and welcoming. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone coming here!

Tübingen is one of the prettiest towns in Germany (the bombers left it alone), and the Hotel am Schloss is in a great position just under the castle entrance. Our corner room on the first floor (no. 18) was spacious with a picturesque view towards the town centre. Excellent breakfast was included, with eggs however you wanted them. Parking was no problem next to the hotel. The only gripe is my usual one that hotels in Germany are often over-renovated. The Am Schloss is an ancient building but you’d be hard pressed to tell inside (the exterior is charmingly antique). The rooms were €168 a night for two people with breakfast.

We had two nights here and loved the hotel. The location is unsurpassed, the room was very comfortable, with a view of the castle gateway, and the staff are excellent. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were very happy with the food, the service and the atmosphere. The views from the terrace are superb. I can’t imagine there is a better place in the town.

This is a lovely boutique hotel to stay in! Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly professional staff. Great location to explore Tubingen. If you arrive by train or bus, it's a bit of a walk to the hotel with bags, but managable and worth it. Food in the restaurant is great! Highly recommended!
