Falkensteiner Family Hotel Montafon - the Leading Hotels of the World

Falkensteiner Montafon is a gem, blending top notch childrens facilities with the rest of the hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, the room was great and the food fabulous (even though I was sceptical of it being all in buffet form at first). Excellent location, perfect for hiking in summer time. Spa is wonderful and our child was completely in live with the kidsclub, all the activities and Falky! Would love to go back.

Fantastic stay, beautiful food, great facilities and stunning scenery. Great gym also. Choice of foods abd staff care was excellent. My kids are slightly older 10 and 14 and they loved the pool. Highly recommended. Beware the Swiss holidays as the hotel is less pleasant when full.

Stayed here twice. Once in the winter and once in the spring. Amazing experience both times. Great food selection with many traditional and vegan options but you have to pay for water and drinks separately during lunch and dinner. Best part about the hotel for us were the two kids clubs (for little kids and for big kids). Special thanks to Homberto and Jens who worked at the kids clubs and went above and beyond. Our kids loved spending time there with them which gave us time to relax. Rosa, the massage therapist was great and incredibly skilled too! Keep in mind that the kids playground outside and the adult pool are still being constructed as of May 2023.

This hotel has thought of EVERYTHING! It is a brand-new hotel, so everything is box fresh and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. The concept for families is second to none - from the soft play area and slide at reception the kids will be entertained from the moment they walk in. They have a baby club (0-4) and a kids club (4-12) which not only includes all the usuals like games, arts and crafts etc but they have their own science lab and cooking classes! There’s also foosball and pool tables, an indoor basketball court and football goals, an interactive room which combines as a disco area and cinema plus a climbing wall! The rooms are designed with families in mind, from the layout and giving the kids and adults their separate bathrooms. Every room has a balcony so there's a view to enjoy whichever option you choose. The dining is buffet style and the quality and choice you get is unreal. Plus, they offer 'Jause' which is a welcomed buffet after arriving back from the slopes. The indoor and outdoor (heated) pools offer stunning views and a couple of slides to entertain the kids (and adults!). The spa is a sanctuary with an adults-only relaxation area! It's in a perfect location and only a 5-minute walk to the slopes. If you want to combine ultimate family luxury with skiing then this is the one for you!

Très déçu par cet hôtel classé 5 étoiles ! Pour avoir fait de nombreux hôtels 4 et 5 étoiles en Autriche, cet hôtel n’est pas digne d’un 5 étoiles : environnement très bruyant avec certes de nombreuses activités pour les enfants mais des hurlements de partout. Piscine non agréable car énormément de monde, de cris. Pas de transat de disponible pour l’ensemble des clients alors c’est la guerre, il faut courir dès qu’il y en a un de disponible. Repas servi sous forme de buffet rien d’exceptionnel ! Certains clients mangeaient en peignoir le midi au restaurant !! De +, il y avait la queue pour chercher à manger le soir et si on venait trop tard il n’y avait plus grand chose !! Le style vestimentaire pour un 5 étoiles laisse à désirer dans cet hôtel que ce soit côté client et personnel. Le personnel n’accorde pas plus d’importance que ça au client. Pas de bonjour en arrivant au restaurant, et nous dire que nous avons déjà mangé car des gens étaient installés à notre table !! Aucun effort de dialogue pour les francophones et même pour parler en anglais c’était compliqué de se faire comprendre ! Nous sommes quand même dans un hôtel 5 étoiles avec le prix qui va avec ! Offre de séjour contenant 30 min de massage offert par personne, nous n’avons jamais pu les faire car aucune réponse du SPA en 3 jours malgré mes relances puis le dernier jour on nous a dit qu’il y avait trop de monde ! On nous a fait une petite remise lors de notre départ mais aucune excuse de la part des responsables. Chambre correcte. Pour passer un séjour au calme et reposant éviter cet hôtel ! Nous avons été très déçu et nous n’y retournerons plus.

Das Hotel wurde 2022 eröffnet und ist folglich sehr modern. Der fliessende Übergang der Reception zum Spielbereich für die Kinder hin zur Bar/Essbereich ist super und lässt einem einen guten Überblick behalten. Die Kinder können sich (fast) gefahrlos überall selbst bewegen, sodass man als Eltern auch mal am Tisch sitzenbleiben und fertig essen kann. Das Essen war abwechslungsreich und hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Obwohl es auch abends ein Buffet gab, war dieses von höchster Qualität. Ein Buffet erlaubt sowohl den Kindern als auch den Eltern, das Essen zu wählen, was ihnen am besten schmeckt. Auf dem Tisch stehen jeweils eine Flasche Mineralwasser mit und ohne Kohlensäure, welches man auch kostenlos nachbestellen konnte. Alle weiteren Getränke waren kostenpflichtig. Auch die Jause ist hierbei zu erwähnen, welche jeweils sehr ausgiebig und lecker ausgefallen ist (Salatbuffet, Gemüse, Stärkebeilage, Pommes o.ä. für die Kids, Dessert). Die Zimmer sind perfekt für Familien mit einem abgetrennten Kinderzimmer. Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit (bspw. als wir nach einem Rausfallschutz gefragt haben), auch wenn man teilweise Englisch sprechen musste, was uns nicht weiter gestört hat. Der Pool- und Spabereich ist ebenfalls modern, schön und bietet für alle etwas. Zwei bzw. drei (eine sehr kleine im Babybad) Wasserrutschen für die Kinder, ein grosser Pool, welcher auch einen Aussenteil hat, eine Familiensauna und der Adults-Only Spabereich im oberen Stock. Am Abend gab es für die Kinder täglich Kinderdisco und anschliessend ist jeweils Kino angesagt. Die Kinder können dafür selbst Popcorn besorgen, was sie besonders toll fanden. Das Hotel vermietet E-Bikes mit Kinderanhängern und Kinder-E-Bikes für grössere Kinder. Für Babies gibt es die Biberonia-Station, wo man Aptamil, Babybrei, Mikrowelle, Früchte, Flaschenwärmer, etc. findet und sich bedienen kann. Auch die Wickelstation ist super praktisch, da es sowohl Feuchttücher als auch Windeln zur Verfügung hat. Man muss als Eltern wirklich nichts mehr dabei haben, wenn man das Hotelzimmer verlässt. Top! Insgesamt war es ein toller Aufenthalt im Falkensteiner Montafon. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
