Good - Beautiful Hotel - Great Beachfront - Amazing attentive staff Not so good - Same breakfast everyday, can be a bit tiring after the day 3 - Low quality cocktail mixers which makes the cocktail not so tasteful - Gym opens too late and closes to early.... times not ideal and it's got limited equipment - No other tea optionthan the Vanilla tea... - No replenishing of used up complimentary lotion, shower, e.t.c - Set dinner menu for certain days not ideal. Time consuming, potions either too small or too large, only one option of dessert and starter and only 2 for Mai

Mauritius my review. Now on our last day but one , we’re very sad. Great stay at this lovely hotel. We booked an ocean view room, so worth little extra cost - we where placed on floor two on right side looking on to sea & pool area - note, there are no lifts at this hotel but not an issue only four floors high - you face out to the beautiful ocean and stunning reef the gardens-pool/bar . Even though the room was a little tired It was a good size, very clean, and maintained everyday - bathroom with a shower. The room has tea/coffee making area mini but good sized fridge, hairdryer ( not high pressure ) balcony with chairs and a table, good sized wardrobe and shelving , safe - no iron - The bed is firm , that’s good for me & air con was great. The staff were amazing, warm, friendly, and charming - nothing is too much trouble at all. All the restaurant staff are always happy. The food for a three star hotel was amazing, very much like A French Auberge experience, the food was varied; buffet breakfast & dinner - some 3/4 course dinner formal served nights. Night entertainment was fun for those who joined in. As the hotel is small you get to know people, which is great & makes it more enjoyable . The hotel sits on a lovely white sandy beach & there’s plenty of other beautiful local public beaches assessable by foot from the hotel, we hired a car from the hotel really reasonable rate - and travelled about , be aware it takes a bit of time due to the roads to reach any destination but well worth it as the islands so beautiful. Tipping: We personally tip, please bear in mind this is a poor country. The staff deserved the tips as they work so hard & try not to forget the kitchen staff. The beach is lovely white sand beach, plenty sun beds and the beach staff will bring out extra sun brolly’s for you if you ask, you’ll need swim shoes, I was ok - but have rubber feet! going into the ocean, the sand is coral. Highly recommend this hotel and thank all the staff for making our stay a memorable experience we congratulate you and the manager.
