Hotel Dhruv Palace

Room clean and had been recently updated. Front desk Staff were friendly and went out of their wst to provife great service. Stayed 3 nights and room was made up only on the last day and then forgot to replace the towels etc they removed. Was quiet even though very full. Breakfast was ok but staff need to monitor more closely, wipe tables etc. I woukd stay again.

I got the names of 4 hotels from the panditji (Ajit Chanwadklar - 0 98 22 22 25 30) who helps in organizing pujas at the Trambakeshwar temple). But of the 4 hotels, 2 picked up the numbers and Dhruv was more customer friendly. Answered all my questions patiently, did not ask for advance online payment of INR1500 (ac room) for 1 night and even said could organize car trip back to Mumbai airport. Every time I called them before the trip, the phone was promptly attended. As for as the rooms, beddings can be cleaner (quite 2 star), no geyser facility in the bathroom. This is important because in rainy seasons (and I went when it was pouring and needed to take bath at 5 am for my puja), without geyser it is shivering cold! They have an in-house auto and driver who took me to the pandit's house and next day morning again at 5:30 am for the same rate of INR 40 each side. Dinner and breakfast - you will limited and popular items though they have an extended menu card. Food is hot but comforting. Quick service too. You can see the kitchen - it is very clean and will also pack you pure veg (no onion and garlic meal) if requested. My driver whom I took from Mumbai airport complained that his room had a huge mosquito problem! The hotel is around a good 20-25 minutes walking distance from the temple even if you take the straight route though they will tell it is just 10 minutes! Do not expect much from the hotel in terms of facilities but the fact that I was a single woman traveler the hotel staff really made me feel very comfortable and secure. - Really appreciate that

Very impressive hotel. Room was very modern, spacious, clean and comfortable. Price was affordable and much less than what we had expected. Great service by waiting staffs who were very attentive and friendly too. All facilities were great.
