Awful. The room I was allocated (204) is at the back of the building up several flights of stairs and the directions are disorientating. This room also has an extractor fan that runs all of the time even when the bathroom is not in use. By midnight and unable to sleep due to noise one of the staff attended. They advised that this is a regular issue in this room and to resolve it stand on a chair and remove a ceiling tile. The switch can then be turned off but it would be necessary to repeat this to turn it on again when I needed a shower. This was completely unsafe for myself and the staff member. I have contacted premier inn directly but they are having to carry out an investigation. They did send an email requesting a review so here it is.

Another tired Premier Inn, they all seem to follow the same theme, a tired hotel with a rubbish restaurant/pub on the side. Good location and car park , other then that, cold , drab rooms that need a refurb, low water pressure, hot and cold all the time. Do not purchase food next door, the breakfast is disgusting, luke warm buffet under heated lamps, nothing fresh about it all. Standard bought croissants from Lidl probably and toast and a bit of fruit, not good value for money at all. Same as the evening meal other than its table service which is very slow. Food is normal pub food , no taste but fills you up and just chucked on a plate.

A great base in the heart of Cornwall for our family stay, Lovely restaurant and couldn’t fault the accommodation which was what we expected. A really good choice on the menu, great breakfast and friendly staff, all which made for a great stay.

This hotel is easy to find being right on the main road car park is plentiful size. The room we had you could see some of the sea which was nice sat I the morning looking over to it.The room we had was the most dated premier inn we have stayed in there was a desk which there was fake wood strip coming off it.No power points on the bedside cabinets which I wanting to charge your phone you had to keep getting out of bed.The bathroom the main light didn't work in there but this hotel on average wasn't bad it was within driving distance of most popular areas and within walking distance had a nice bakery

We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting the area, staying in room 3, a wheelchair accessible room. The room was large with space on both sides of the bed for a wheelchair. The bed was very comfortable and the room had been cleaned to a high standard. The wetroom was well designed and large enough to be able to manoeuvre my wheelchair in comfortably. There was a pull down grab rail for the toilet and two in the shower area, an easy to operate shower and a sturdy and clean shower seat. All staff we encountered were efficient and very friendly, despite a slight hiccup with the billing when we checked in (partly our fault, there was a miscommunication somewhere down the line) Breakfast in the pub next door was very good, the cooked items were hot and fresh although warm plates would have been appreciated and the serving counter was too high for a wheelchair user or person of restricted height to reach. We also ate here for one evening, my husband had steak and I had a burger. Both cooked to perfection and despite that they were busy, we were served promptly by attentive staff. I would certainly stay here again when in the area.

Very comfortable stay, home from home. Perfect while I was working in the area and will definitely stay here again in the future. Comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep, TV and WiFi and a great shower to freshen up. Friendly staff are very helpful

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location and easy to find. Plenty of parking even though we arrived around 9.30pm. Easy to check-in, staff friendly. Room was plenty big enough for us all (family of 4). Yes the bathroom could do with a bit of a refurb (the soap holder was a bit rusty) but it was clean. Towels were nice and big. We ran out of toilet paper on the first morning so asked for some at front desk, I was given a stack of the toilet roll you get in public toilets normally and it didn't fit very well in the holder so we just put it on the side which was a little annoying! Beds were comfy, spare pillows available. Relatively quiet although did hear some people come back around 2.30am quite loudly but that's not the hotels fault. We had breakfast at Niles Bakery across the road which was good. Lots of choice including pastries. We also had takeaway pizza at Salt Bay Pizza (bit further down than Niles Bakery) which was delicious. We should have booked a table but they were booked until 8pm...we were hungry so ordered takeaway which took around 20mins. Definitely stay again, great value for money.

Our was made very comfortable and well cleaned by Tilly. Bathroom and all surfaces spotless and room smelled fresh. The only thing was only 1 pillow per person. Breakfast had a great variety, was hot and host was friendly. Definitely come again.

The room was in a quiet location. Bed was comfy and we slept well. Plenty of plug sockets in the room BUT none beside the bed so we couldn't rest on bed looking at fones whilst charging them! Shower was ok, nice big bath towels. We had breakfast which was at the pub next door, I can only describe it as a right shambles. We went at 09.30 and there was no fruit juice, coffee, clean bowls. The hot tray was almost empty - no beans, eggs, sausages, no veggie sausages, tables hadn't been cleared, couldn't find any cutlery. Eventually these things were replenished but it was too late for us. It's a shame because we had had a nice vegetarian meal there the night before for my birthday, with excellent service. We recently stayed in a Travelodge in York and it was far superior. The rooms had coffee pod machines, hot choc sachets, biscuits plus sockets by bed. Their breakfast was constantly being replenished and offered veggie sausages, so in future Travelodge will be our choice.
