Albergo Rusall

La habitación del hotel era pequeña pero estaba limpia y tenía una cama cómoda. No había tetera y la ducha estaba sobre la bañera. La habitación tenía un balcón y la vista al hermoso jardín y al lago Como era magnífica. Cenamos dos veces en el restaurante del hotel, que también tenía una vista hermosa, aunque cenar alrededor de las 8 p. m. nos pareció demasiado tarde para nosotros. La comida, sin embargo, estaba deliciosa. Fue un poco decepcionante que el agua de la piscina estuviera fría dado el clima cálido, ya que parecía muy acogedora. Los anfitriones y el personal fueron amables y trabajadores. El estacionamiento era gratuito en el lugar. Necesita un automóvil, ya que el hotel está ubicado en una carretera empinada desde el lago, pero la ventaja es la fabulosa vista.

WE coose this hotel because of the reviews and location My goodness we were DELIGHTED with our choice. A very rare experience to stay in a genuine family run hotel not a chain! The family Franco and wife Llyda couldn't not have been more kind and helpful. That in itself was a huge plus. Then the location WOW !!! Oh those views over the Alps and lake Como from thre bedrooms and the terrace where we enjoyed fabulous GnTs and nibbles whilst the sun went down. The food in the restaurant was great quality, excellent wine list and cooked by Francos brother. A car is really useful to get up from the main road, high into the hills. The location is complemented by a couple of restaurants near it ( one run by Francos cousin). Convenient for the ferry stop to visit other towns . Note , if you require modern facilities ie power showers/ modern furnisings etc this is not your vibe It's for people who value genuine hospitality, great food wine and simply stunning scenery

We had the most perfect time at this hotel! It’s perched high up above the Lake Como looking towards Bellagio. The view from my very comfortable room was stunning. All the food was wonderful & plentiful. The hotel owners & staff were incredibly helpful & friendly - nothing was too much trouble. I’m sure it would be equally suitable for families too. It is a brilliant area for fabulous walks & we took full advantage of the beautiful variety to be accessed. There are good bus & ferry links to many amazing places too by walking the 2km down to the lakeside. Cannot recommend it more highly!

A little gem of a find! Beautiful, traditional, authentic, clean, small hotel with the most incredible views. The setting is just stunning, whether relaxing by the wonderful pool or sitting in their garden area or eating breakfast/lunch/dinner. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The food was very good indeed. Very good spread for breakfast with freshly cooked eggs to order. 4 course dinner fantastic. Aperol Spritz just perfect! Run by a very hardworking, friendly, unassuming, quiet family. They even ironed my husband's very creased shirt before we attended a wedding at Villa del balbianello! Really appreciated. It's situated higher up, hence those views, so a bit of a walk back from the lake. Took us 15 mins down, lovely walk. Maybe 30 mins up...We arranged taxis for when we headed down in the evening....couldn't do the walk in heels! We were thrilled with this find. We have recommended to all our friends & family who can't believe the view in our pics! We are also planning on returning with our young children. Thank you.

We just returned from a one-week stay at Rusall; the food and service are wonderful. The view of Lake Como from the terrace is amazing. We highly recommend and hope to return again! The Rusall is located in Rogaro, just above Tremezzo; a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from stores and restaurants.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Rusall and found it extremely comfortable, relaxing and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and them views from the rooms and from the terrace were amazing. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order and a very good buffet. We ate in the hotel on our third night and the food was excellent. The only downside is thatnyou do need a car as the climb up from the lake is quite steep - but that is why it has such amazing views.
