Bed and Breakfast Il Giardino di Villa Anna

I contacted these hosts to possibly stay at their property. They are simply amazing - kind, generous, and informative! Our plans did not take us to the Pompeii area overnight, but based on my communications with them I would not hesitate to recommend these lovely hosts! Thank you again!!

This was the highlight of our tour of Europe. The room has been remodeled recently and was beautiful. It had a large balcony with unobstructed views of the sea where we watched the lights of Capri and Sorrento come up at sunset. The grounds of the property are beautiful with trees and purple bougainvilleas creating cavernous living walkways between the building and the parking lot and street entrance. Upon arrival, our host asked what we liked for breakfast and each morning, he had a table beautifully set for us including the items we had requested plus juice, cappuccino, Italian bread, and other items. The best part was the host. He was warm and friendly and was a wealth of information about the area. He gave us tips on how to get into Pompeii through a less crowded entrance with no long lines. And he showed us where we could park for only 2 euro for the whole day. The restaurants he recommended were phenomenal and he even had someone pick us up and drop us off for dinner one evening because parking near the restaurant was impossible. There were only two minor things I would suggest for improvement. First, the exterior of the building needs maintenance due to the jungle of flowers and trees surrounding it. And, with the heat in Naples, A/C would have made it more comfortable. But he provided very powerful fans that did keep the air moving enough to make up for the lack of A/C. (He told us A/C was being installed this summer, so they may have it now.)

Sometimes you meet good people who you’ll be remember forever - Ciro and Paola are those people. Very helpful, extremely nice. There are doing their best to make your stay as pleasant as they can. Room was very clean, bed big and comfortable and the view from balcony breathtaking. Breakfast was more than I expected, so delicious!

You can use during your stay the Parking garage, very kind people. Very good breakfast. NIce base to see the bay of Napels, to visit the Vesuvius and Pompeii. Ciro and his wife Paola are very friendly and speak English. We were surprised with a few cold beer and a good bottle of white wine in our room!

We had a lovely stay ! Ciro and his wife made us feel very welcome. They had lots of important information to share about Pompeii/ Vesuvius and surrounds. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was our highlight ! Excellent place to stay for those who are doing a short trip and want to see Pompeii. Also would recommend visiting DOLFI pizzeria for dinner. Lots of easy parking around the area. Would definitely return here !!

The accommodation is totally worth and the hosts are amazing! They helped us with so many things and they are very friendly and outstanding persons! The view is priceless and the service incredible! We are looking forward to going back again!
