Agriturismo Santa Lucia

The owner Nico greeted us with a warm welcome upon arrival. Our Google map took us to an unmarked entrance but just down the way we saw the sign for Agriturismo Santa Lucia (Tratalias) with a cool illustration of St. Lucia with a tear in her eye and tattoo on her neck. There are a couple areas on the property were the one story rooms are located, all with private entrances from the garden to the rooms with a small area outside the room to sit. The rooms are clean, and colourful, spacious and our room had high ceilings. The area near the office has a flat stone slab walkway edged with plantings nuzzled against the warm painted tones of yellow and marigold of the rooms. Our room was located past the main complex. It was a short walk on a gravel drive from the office. Parking was beside the set of rooms we stayed in. Our room was equipped with a mini fridge and decorated with a traditional Sardinian tapestry on the wall. Nicola has a passion for animals. He has a large pasture for his horses. There are a couple albino donkeys, miniature ponies and grey donkeys. A few exotic birds live outside the office and a couple cats hang around. There is a nice kid friendly pool situated in a large lawn with plenty of shade along the edges. There is a large vegetable garden that is harvested daily for that evenings meal. Breakfast and dinner are offered daily. Home made baked goods and yogurt and honey from their hives and a good coffee or assorted teas are among the many breakfast offerings. Dinner at 8:00 if you choose. It is a prefixed meal. All very good and also the chef accommodated my particular needs. Each visitor has their own family table. Nico offered a after dinner drink of his home made mirto. Very good and a specialty of Sardinia. The location is definitely rural, however a short drive to many beaches which we enjoyed. We took the car ferry to Carlo Forte! I recommend that day trip. We had a great meal and spent time at a beach that day. Yes, I highly recommend Agriturismo Santa Lucia. Stay there, enjoy the grounds and surrounding coastal beaches.

Few kilometers of the Islands of Sant'Antioco and San Pietro, the Agritourism, Santa Lucia, is located amid green pastures and few hills, The drive is easy and as soon as you arrive you feel yourself immerse in an oasis of tranquility, lovely peace and friendly atmosphere. Rooms are large and cozy, with a patio for your chairs and racks for your own laundry. The highlight are the food, fresh, genuine coming from their own garden and plenty and the pool, where, at the end of a long day exploring the area, we enjoyed relaxing. After dinner we could have our post dinner drinks in a nice open patio with comfy chairs Beautiful horses are kept in the property, plus other farm animals including two rare albino donkeys, such great attractions for family with kids. Everybody was extremely helpful and friendly. I think our stay there was the highlight of our Sardinian's journey this year. Thank you Nicola! Sincerely very highly recommended.

Posto bellissimo con camere climatizzate , colazione abbondante , personale molto gentile e disponibile . Struttura con molte camere , accoglienti e ben curate che possono soddisfare tutti . La posizione è ottima in pochi minuti si possono raggiungere spiagge bellissime miniere e grotte .

Séjour magnifique dans un endroit calme et accueillant. Personnel très aimable, propreté irréprochable et petit déjeuner très satisfaisant. Le cadre est exceptionnel. Je recommande vivement, en couple ou en famille. Merci à Nicola pour son très bon accueil :)

Bellissima scoperta! Ho sempre preferito fare le vacanze a contatto con la natura e all’Agriturismo SantaLucia la natura la fa davvero da padrona! Nicola è un proprietario disponibile e simpatico, sempre pronto a venire incontro alle tue richieste. Le camere sono essenziali ma ampi sono gli spazi esterni dove potersi rilassare, prendere il sole nella bellissima piscina, oppure passeggiare nel maneggio tra i cavalli e asinelli. Mia figlia ne era completamente innamorata! Un’oasi di pace e tranquillità a una ventina di minuti da tutte le più belle spiagge. Un ringraziamento speciale a Patrizia che ha saputo cucinare ogni giorno prelibatezze per la mia piccola celiaca.

Ottima accoglienza, una settimana incantevole all’insegna della tranquillità, dove il silenzio, la natura e le buone torte di Patrizia ti fanno sentire super coccolato. Nicola, il proprietario, è fantastico, non si può non farci amicizia. La cena da loro indimenticabile!
